French Country House for Six - A Home for Your Next Holiday

Renovated Country Family House - A modern twist which maintains its French Flair. New for the 2024 season - Fibre high speed internet and WiFi. The house is available for stays throughout the year with seasonal central heating (October - March).

Holiday in a family sized home on two floors for up to 6 people. Downstairs there is a kitchen and dining area, lounge, a bedroom or second relaxing area with a single/pull out double bed/settee and a WC. Upstairs you will find the Master bedroom with super king size bed a further bedroom with two full size single beds, a bathroom with a bath with shower over fitted with a ‘rain’ shower head and glass screen, a separate WC and a landing area with a comfortable chair to read or relax.

Accessibility – there are steps to access the garden and the main entrance and a narrow staircase to the upstairs.

Your holiday home has everything that you need for a restful and relaxing holiday. A fully fitted kitchen with the comforts of home – A full size cooker, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher, together with all of the cutlery, pans and utensils that you will need so that your holiday cooking is not a chore. The lounge has a large flat screen television with French terrestrial channels and UK FreeSat Satellite channels (2) and a DVD/Blu-ray player. Free WiFi is included. All Bedrooms are made up for your arrival - bedding (3) and towels for each guest are included, a hair dryer and mirror and even USB charging points (1) in the bedside sockets so no need to worry if you have forgotten your travel adaptor for your devices. There is a separate shared laundry room with washing machine, condenser dryer and ironing area.

There is a large fully fenced private garden with BBQ and furniture.

You have full private access to your holiday home and its private fully fenced garden. The property has a sister property next door so you may have neighbours who are on holiday too. The basement laundry room is accessed by a key code.

Lovely vacation

Dear Shaun, Karen, We loved staying in your house. It’s bright, a lovely garden for our dogs. We enjoyed this walks and the rides to the villages in the aera. We appreciate your call on the last evening to check if everything was oké. Marjon, Marcellino, Sharon, Rene and Hailey.

Tolles Haus mit allem Komfort wie zu Hause

Das Haus ist mit mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Der Ort ist etwas abgelegen aber tolle Ziele sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Um den Ort herum kann man auch gut spazieren gehen.

Großartige Zeit im Dreiländereck Bretagne, Normandie und Loire

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit im Dreiländereck Bretagne-Normandie-Loire. Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend, die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind vielfältig und meistens gut erreichbar und besuchbar. Für alle Interessen und Vorlieben gibt es genug zu sehen. Beim Wandern fühlt man sich wie in einem Asterix-Comic, allerorten kann man auf Geschichte treffen, von der Keltenzeit bis in die Neuzeit. Hercé ist wunderschön gelegen, inmitten toller Natur, alles was man zum Leben (und Genießen) braucht, ist spätestens in Gorron (10 min mit dem Auto) zu besorgen. Das Häuschen von Shaun ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet, alles, was man zum täglichen Leben braucht, ist da und man fühlt sich rundherum wohl. Wir waren 5 (2 Große, zwei Kleine und ein Hund) und haben die 14 Tage sehr genossen. Wenn unsere französischen Freunde und Nachbarn (von Stuttgart aus gesehen) etwas beherrschen, dann ist es, das Leben in vollen Zügen zu genießen. Genau so haben wir die Tage verbracht, mit allen kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten (gibt es Gorron, siehe oben). Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung haben wir fast täglich unternommen, die Geschwindigkeit der Fahrten sank ab Tag 2 auf lockeres französisches Niveau, es gibt kein besseres Zeichen für Entspannung. Deutsche Hektik ist an Tag 2 vergessen, französische Gelassenheit und bewusstes Leben in einer tollen Umgebung sind ab Tag 2 und 1 Minute erlebbar. Vielen Dank, lieber Shaun, für diese Perle an Häuschen, und auch für die tolle Gastfreundschaft. Wer den hektischen Alltag zurücklassen möchte, Ruhe und Gelassenheit im Urlaub einem turbulenten all-inclusive-Buffet und Geschrei am Kinderpool vorzieht, der hat hier tolle Tage vor sich. Wir waren schon oft im wunderschönen Frankreich unterwegs, aber noch NIE haben die Kinder das Meer vor der Haustüre NICHT vermisst, und beide schon auf der Heimfahrt schlechte Laune gehabt, weil es so schön war und die Tage schon vorbei. Danke!

In 2018 we decided that we should allow more people to experience the area and after much searching found the two wonderful houses that we have now renovated and made available for you to experience the area.

What makes this property unique

We have stayed in many different types and styles of accommodation over the years, as singles with family and also with pets. The idea behind our renovations was to make our houses clean, tidy and a 'home for your holiday' with hopefully everything you need for a great visit.
As we have dogs and travel with them around Europe, the houses are dog friendly and it was important to us that the gardens were also secure so that you can enjoy your holiday whilst knowing your family pet is also safe.
