Anna Maria Island is a tropical barrier island seven and one half miles long. Its fine white sugar sand beaches are open to the public with convenient accesses the entire island. It is one of the finest beaches in the United States. Unlike some tourist areas of Florida that are typified by endless rows of high rise apartment buildings and hotels, Anna Maria is an island of homes and small resorts.

We were extremely impressed! It is even nicer than the photos. The kitchen has everything you would want. There were plenty of towels and beach towels and a pleasant surprise was that everything you need for the beach, which is only steps away, was in the storage unit for the condo. When we go back to AMI we plan on staying there again. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

check in and location no problems, interior not cleaned prioperly when arrived (guest bedroom both comforters had big visible stains, food left under dining room table,food in between couch cushions,mold on master bathroom shower curtain liner, flooring in master bedroom (wood) damaged/warped/buckled, bed skirt in master bedroom dirty,hairs,dust on it hairs in showers when arrived,globs of dust in bedroom fan, dryer heavy rust on top of it, TV in master bedroom volume inoperable,paper towels left on holder dirty/stained. NOTE: We called office and housekeeping & maintenance came pretty quick. TV could not be fixed,new TV delivered/set up next day, house keeping came (after we already cleaned floors & couches of food particles) told him we wanted clean comforters for beds and he brought us bed sheets, told we needed comforters then left and brought clean comforters. by the time we checked out we washed all towels,folded & put away,vacuumed/cleaned floors,washed dishes wiped off all appliances & counterertops. ( I have pictures of the uncleanliness when we arrived) **THE RENTAL WAS CLEANER WHEN WE LEFT THEN WHEN WE ARRIVED. VERY,VERY,VERY UNHAPPY THAT WE WERE CHARGED $130 GUEST CLEANING WHEN IT WAS OBVIOUS IT WAS NOT CLEANED PROPERLY. **THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS REFUND MY CLEANING FEE PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT MY REQUEST THANK YOU, HKING

We certainly do apologize that the condo was not up to the proper cleaning standards when you checked in and like you mentioned in your review, we did address this as soon as it was reported as well as the TV issue.

great place to stay

really enjoyed it....I would recommend checking into the a/c. I know its controlled by WIFI from the owners and usually 74 is fine...but for some reason it was not cooling well at 74 degrees. we are very respectful keeping doors closed and shades drawn shut while we are gone. All together it was GREAT !

Great condo on the beach! Needs new mattress sets( creaks with every move, found boards under mattress!). couches ( very worn and uncomfortable ) needs update to old toilets ( higher oblong ) and shower unit looks bad! Also new kitchen towels ( smelled and look terrible) and sheets We loved it there except for lack of updates Would stay again if updated

Beautiful property and perfect location!

Unit was exactly as pictured; clean and perfect location. Includes all kitchen supplies needed to cook in. Beautiful view, beach was clean and not overly crowded. Owner provides beach accessories (we didn’t use because was brought our own), looked to have everything you’d need from chairs, umbrellas, cooler and more, even a couple bikes. Comfortable beds, pillows good (everyone has their own liking). Close to trolly stops, within walking to some eating. Parking can get tight, especially with full sized truck. Overflow spaces were always full but we managed. All in all, we had a great trip and look forward to returning again next year!!

Great vacation

The view is amazing and you are so close to the beach . The management company was great to work with everything went smooth from when we booked it to our check out! The only issue was it was a little dirty when we checked in but we just cleaned what needed to be done and all was good. I would recommend staying and definitely would come back!!!

May Vacation

We love the location of this property. This was the second unit we stayed at. The unit was clean except for some of the plates, bowls and fry pans. They had to be rewashed because of dried on foods. Both bathrooms were adequate but do need some improvements. The living area has two very uncomfortable couches that need to be replaced. A couple of recliners would be nice. Parking is convenient but the spots are tight. No elevator so be prepared to lug your stuff up four flights of stairs if you unit is one of the 200’s. But the best part is the closeness to the beach which makes the items I mentioned tolerable.

Beautiful View and Great Layout

We have stayed on Anna Maria many times but the first time in this area of the island. The condo was perfect for 4 adults. The twin beds are squishy and not very comfortable but the queen bed was great. The property is well maintained. The management was great. Waking up to the view was priceless.

Beds horribly uncomfortable. Nicely remodeled kitchen. Master bed hard as a rock and squeaky with the slightest movement. Need darkening curtains in the master. Road noise is loud in the Master. Patio furniture cute but really needs some comfortable seating to enjoy the beautiful view. Older building, but clean and well equipped. Great location, steps from the beach.

No Communication

The property is very clean and a great location. Unfortunately, no one communicates to us that there was construction going on in the condo right next to us every day except Sunday. We even had to go ask the contractor to stop at 6:30 pm one night. Also, there was no communication about the renourishment of the beach happening right next to us. We could have easily scheduled for another week had we known.

Beautiful view, dirty condo

This property wasn’t clean, dishes had dried food on them, not enough wash cloths, things were left out from previous visitors, mattresses are lumpy, not all the outlets worked, several light switches that went to nothing, piles of dirt and hair behind doors, shower curtain in master bathroom has mold on it (read a review after we arrived from July 27th with this same complaint), bathrooms could stand to have an update. It’s like the cleaning people did what they felt they needed to do to just get by. The swimming pool has a black film around the edges. While here, construction was going on in the condo next to us, while we understand they have a job to do, and probably a time frame to do their work, maybe don’t schedule vacationers right next to that. It was loud, they started at 7:00am and it went ALL day. If you wanted to take a nap, nope! The view however is awesome! We will more than likely come back down to the island but we will not be staying here.

Hi Lacey, Thank you for taking the time to write this review and provide feedback. We pride ourselves in making sure that all of our guests have a fantastic time while they are here. We did review the cleaning issues that you reported on check out with the cleaning company and they have all been addressed. We would have gladly sent housekeeping back immediately to rectify any and all issues that you found if we had been notified, unfortunately you notified us on check out day. Not sure why guests wait until check out date to report cleaning issues. We have never had any complaints on the mattresses so we will certainly look into this. The bathrooms are clearly depicted in the photos on the listing and show exactly what they look like. We have notified the Complex managers about the pool. It is very unfortunate that you were disturbed by renovations that are being done on another condo. Unfortunately, we have no control on when other owners do renovation, nor do they let us know that it will be done. There was no way for us to have known about this construction noise. We would have certainly notified you in advance had we known that it was going to be taken place.
