Dolphin Bay Villa was built brand new from the ground up so everything is modern, clean and contemporary. It is positioned close to Kas Marina entrance so every yacht sailing in or out will past directly in front of the villa. Large private infinity pool and jacuzzi. Soak up the sun on the sunbeds or on the large exterior settees. The villa has a large shaded area to the side with direct access from the kitchen which is the ideal spot to enjoy your meals alfresco. A large BBQ is there to let dad do his showing off.
The modern kitchen leads out onto a shaded seating area where you can enjoy your meals on the large marble table and chairs while watching the world drift by or relax & chat on the cushioned seating area while in the shade.
The open plan lounge has a large table and chairs for your family meals, twin luxury settees and large screen Samsung tv, dvd & hifi are there so you can relax in the evening, a real log fire is at your disposal should you wish for that romantic night in.
Kas peninsular is the jewel of SW Turkey and has been listed as an area of natural beauty and archaeological interest by the government. Wild tortoises cross the road in front of you & you will probably find yourselves assisting them to the edge of the road. Turtles swim past on a daily basis and occasionally dolphins will grace you with their presence.
A dolmus (bus) ride arrives every 30 minutes and runs from 08.00-00.30 For about 50p this will take you into the Old Town of Kas filled with quaint restaurants, shops, the old harbour, locally made ice creams, cafes and hidden garden hideaways & free to use secluded beachfront bars.
Catch a local boat trip to Meis (Greece) and spend the day in the ancient Greek village, visit the blue cave or hire a Gullet and take to the Med, swimming, snorkelling or just soaking up the sun. I would recommend a boat trip to the ancient sunken city of Kekova a must for everyone.
Kas has some of the best dive sites in Turkey and scuba diving is offered as a daily activity, it even has its own sunken WW2 tank & DC10 airplane specially brought in to help the sea life.
A parasail down from the local mountain direct in to the Old Town marina is a beautiful 40-60 minute airborne experience. and it lands on dry land.
Visit the new marina at the entrance to the peninsula and take advantage of the full size fresh water swimming pool, restaurants, spa, laundrette, chandlers and grocery shops, or just take a look at the beautiful yachts.
A favourite trip for many is a short trip to the ancient Roman site of Patara where you can freely walk inside the 6000 seater 2000 year old amphitheatre and explore the huge amount of Roman ruins and buildings. To get there by dolmus (bus) will cost about £1.50. Patara beach has 18 km of talcum powder sand and shallow sea which is idea for cooling off and having a mellow swim or doing a morning fitness regime. However, you will be required to leave the beach by 19.00 as it's Turtle time, this allows the turtles to come ashore and have their own R&R, fair enough!
Turtle Bay villa is positioned directly behind Dolphin Bay villa and they can be rented together giving accommodate up to 16 people in 8 bedrooms, combined this would make a perfect setting for a joint rental of two families or wedding party. Turtle bay had its first marriage in September 2017 and this was the families 8th returning visit to the villas (many thanks to the Stillwell family)
This is a villa that you will want to come back to year after year, most people do.
