A large pond at the top of the garden where there is another seating area gives views across the stunning Camel Valley
Just off the patio is a large Games Room (just in case the weather gets a bit British!) with pool table and air hockey, darts, TV with DVD player, log burner, sofas and plenty of puzzles and board games is

Quiet corner of Cornwall
A lovely spacious property with a large secluded garden. The games room provides a huge amount of extra space, if it's needed. The location is very peaceful and only a very moderate drive from beaches and coastal paths, so it's great if you want to enjoy the sea but want to get away from the crowds.

Wonderful property
Nothing wrong with the promotional pictures but they cannot do some aspects justice. Much bigger than we expected inside and out and great quality of fixtures and fittings etc. Garden great, dragonflies, nesting swallows etc.

Beautiful Stone Barn
We were very impressed with the accommodation. The barn was very well equipped and the games room was amazing. We found lots to do in the local area. Emma was very quick to respond to our queries and nothing was too much trouble. Would totally recommend.

Cornwall summer holiday 2021
Lovely property, comfortable and modern. Great games room for the children and adults alike. Slight issue with damp in the ground floor rooms, making a couple of rooms musty.

Amazing Stay!!
We have just come back from a stay at the Stone barn and honestly did not want to leave. The barn is very welcoming and set in a great location that you can enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside and also only 20-30 mins away from exploring the many beaches of North Cornwall. You feel very at home here because you have everything you need - a well equipped kitchen, a huge garden that is beautiful and a big bonus for the children was the games room which kept that entertained for hours. Thank you for letting us stay, we had a great holiday -highly recommended, and hopefully we will return.

About the host

The 3 of us live in rural North Shropshire along with our 4 dogs, horses, cats, sheep, peacocks and chickens. We have holidayed along the North Cornwall coast as a family for years and also as children going back more years than any of us care to remember!

Why they chose this property

This area of North Cornwall has been a favourite for decades. We favour the estuarine beaches of Daymer Bay and Rock for tranquil walking beside a surf free sea but also love the windswept coast paths and crashing Atlantic ocean at Trebarwith and Polzeath. Whether you want to surf, stroll or simply chill out this area keeps drawing us back again and again.
Fabulous restaurants and quaint pubs with friendly locals only add to the joy of the area.

What makes this property unique

We chose The Stone Barn because it offered something special for every season. Close enough to all the main coastal areas so that an evening stroll along the beach is easy; beautiful tranquil gardens to enjoy; cosy fires in the depths of winter and wonderful autumnal colours in the surrounding valley.
