About this property
Surfhunt Bird Watchers Beach Home
Whether you are a pro bird-watcher or simply want to take the most out of your nature holiday, bird-watching is perfect for your to-do list with over 380 species of birds spotted in Estonia annually.
Estonia’s indented coastline, numerous islands, forests, bogs and other diverse cultural landscapes are all great spots for bird-watching. The best time for bird-watching is during their migration when millions of birds fill the skies.
Birding season begins as early as in March. Spring migration culminates in mid-May and the bird observation season winds down by mid-June. The autumn migration tends to be more modest, but draws enthusiasts to Estonia in September and October as well. Thanks to the large forest areas and suitable habitats, six species of eagle can be seen in Estonia as well as 8 of 9 European woodpecker species.
We have more than 15 birdwach towers close than 50km to drive. To Matsalu olnly
My home at the beach welcomes quests since 2018 when I accidentally ovewrbooked my guesthouse. I had to find a solution and it turned out just fine!
My home is built like a studio with no walls just two layers sleeping and office layer upstairs and living-eating communicating layer townstairs.
No secrets between habitants :)
We have incredible amount of different bird species! As we have a landscape with pine forest, meadows, temperate decidouous forest, semi-natural biotopes give a good home for all different birds and mammals and amphibians, insects and so one.
Welcome to meet them all!

Why they chose this property
A lot of nature and freedom around the house to see and go for.
What makes this property unique
We have space for childhood like our parents and preparents had - free from all that mess like towns have. Children are safe to be independently outdoor.
Bugs, moss, lichen everywhere to prowe a clear air. The water we use is real alive groundwater ( not cleaned in factory pipes )
Lots of birdcalls at springmornings. At March owls and time to time seals come to give their birth giving and weddings concerts.
