Clean and comfortable

Great place to stay on the trip from Sydney to Byron Bay with my family. The owner was more than helpful and the house was perfect. Easy walk to shops, comfortable beds and quiet environment to relax and sleep. Definitely staying here again!

Cozy in Walcha

2nd time we have stayed here and both times have been great. Cozy house, thoughtfully equipped with a welcoming wood heater that keeps the place warm. Short walk down to town.

Spacious and comfortable

Comfortable beds. Plenty of space. Ideal location. Missing a few essential kitchen supplies (eg. salt and pepper, aluminium foil, dishwasher tablets), but otherwise ticked all the boxes.

Hi Annie, not sure what you mean as the two of you had your beds made up and I don’t think you would need anymore than that. I have a policy to make beds required for the booking, so I ask the guests when they book.

Our Xmas stay

Had a lovely time at valley views. Louise was very easy to communicate with and offered suggestions for where to go for lunch Xmas day(which we took her up on). The area was very quiet which suited us. There were plenty of different walks to do around the place and plenty of mags to read. All good. Thanks very much

Wonderful warm welcome to Walcha

From booking to communication with owner to walking through the door to country charm,smooth and effortless. More than we expected and warm and welcoming just like the locals. Louise you excell in the thoughtful touches.Left you a box of chocolates in appreciation. May the gorgeous region be drenched in rain soon. Would highly recommend the township and property. Communication with owner, poor.

Communication with owner was unsatisfactory. No Key available at check in time of 3pm. Did not reply to phone call or message sent enquiring property access. Owner arrived with key at 3.15 pm. No Wi Fi available at property.

Sorry we were caught up in Armidale, and slow traffic, we were there at 3.10 and no reception when you tried me. I have never stated that there is Wi-Fi--if you read the site, you will see no Wi-Fi there. I found your communication not that great either.. .

Quiet, comfortable and clean.

Louise arrived to light the fire and check us in. She was very pleasant to deal with and made sure we were comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and Timeless

- Amazing location and place. - Peaceful and accomodating home. - Loved the fireplace. - Cottage neatly kept and accessible to town and Walcha moments. We got there at 8pm Friday. Night and the host had the fireplace going. She left a message ready to assist should require anything. I felt at home and the experience staying in Walcha was amazing.

Lovely country house

Lovely house on a hill, short walk down into the main streets of Walcha, which is a great little town. We enjoyed our stay. The main bedroom is beautiful, and the sun room out the back is a real asset. Lounge room very comfortable, but it's worth noting that the wood heater is not in there, but in the big country kitchen/dining room. Lounge has electric heater that works well. Kitchen well equipped, and there are excellent shops, cafes and pubs in town. We had some issues with heating, as the wood heater went out overnight and we couldn't get it started again; there wasn't enough dry kindling or small wood provided. Some noise in the twin bedroom from the sliding/banging toilet door. Accuracy: just a note that there is a queen room, twin room and a single bed in another room.
