Somerset House Albany WA
Somerset House is a special treat boasting six bedrooms and spacious living areas. Its a short stroll to the centre and local restaurants or relax on large verandahs with commanding views of Princess Royal Harbor and the Albany Town site.
The property is an historic original home in a central but tranquil location on the slopes of Mount Clarence and only a block away from the historic Earl of Spencer.
There are large verandas with views on three sides and a BBQ area on the top level also with views. Downstairs you can enjoy a different vista from the breakfast decking off the kitchen and the children can play in the grassed sunken garden at the rear of the property.
Somerset has a large air conditioner with heating and wood fire heating up and downstairs. The house has natural cooling during summer particularly with the 600mm thick granite on the ground floor.

Albany is located on the South West tip of WA and the area is referred to as the Great Southern. With stunning beaches and two major rivers it has much to offer the sightseer. Somerset is only meters from the central location and is handy to most local attractions.
The Great Southern is renown for its diversity of flora and fauna and amazing vistas.
The region has a milder climate than Perth with cooler summers and cooler winters. The best time to visit is between January and July when the Southerly winds are at their minimum.
Enjoy the peace of quiet and yet indulge in the amazing local food and fine wines that this region is becoming known for.
