Sublime and very quite location. Very cute cottage. Very clean. Could do with a bit of minor maintenance eg door to LHS bedroom sticks so opens very loudly, and shrubbery could be trimmed to open up the view from the deck. Also a platter wouldn’t go astray. That being said, we really enjoyed our stay.
The Heavens was a lovely experience for us and our 5 yo Irish setter. The rain kept us inside the cottage, but we tried out brunch down at the village the morning we left to go home. Despite the rain and mist, the cottage delivered breathtaking views and serenity. The facilities indoors were great. Loved it all.
The Heavens provides a comfortable getaway for 4 plus pets in a secluded working property, close to Kangaroo Valley village and Southern Highlands and South coast attractions. Accommodation is comfortable and warm for a winter getaway and the owners were fantastic
The property was gorgeous! We had a great time with our daughter and our dog. The house had everything we needed to be very comfortable. The location was great, we didn't want to leave!
Lovely property, gorgeous views, with lots of outdoor space for us and for our pooch. We enjoyed lighting a fire while watching the sun set, followed by a relaxing bath in the spacious hot tub. We loved it!
The location was very isolated and private revealing gorgeous views.
The accomodation was abit dated with cobwebs around.
But overall it suited us for a stop over for 2 nights in the area.
Great communication and flexible owners. If you are interested in getting away for a quick weekend in beautiful Kangaroo Valley, we can recommend this sweet cottage in a stunning and very peaceful area. The animals are super friendly, the village is very close if you need supplies, and we can guarantee you will leave feeling so much more relaxed than when you arrived!

Beautiful views of the valley and quiet surrounds. The house was well eqipped and cute. We looked out on the goats and alpacas while we played cards and shared old stories.
Delightful welcome at this beautiful mountain retreat. Christmas songs playing & festive decor added to a perfect holiday. Jan & Rob great hosts with attention to detail. Aesthetic natural environs with all comforts & supplies Spa bath with unique alpaca view! Close to Kangaroo Valley & coast. All rooms offering mountain views. Highly recommend.
Neat little cottage in a lovely part of the world. Everything was clean and presentable, and everything we needed was provided. Sadly the view isn't quite what the cottages higher up the hill would get, especially as the cottage is sited so that it's sideways on to the view and there is no comfortable outside seating. The views are much better from the little garden, so bring your own folding chairs and it will be great.
The Elysium cottage at the Heavens was a beautiful piece of paradise set in amongst the mountains down near Kangaroo Valley. The property was quiet and peaceful, surrounded by wildlife, mountains and Mother Nature at her finest. The cottage was a quaint and clean space that had everything you needed (could’ve done without the little field mouse who decides to join us but can’t have everything) with beautiful views.
Stayed in Elysium cottagge with my family of four and our furbaby Lulu and it was indeed a nice experience. The tranquility of the surroundings was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. And we were indeed greeted by the Alpaca trio and the goats who stays right beside the house. Also Jan had been very helpful from booking till checkout on everything. Will definitely visit again! 😊
NB: Please ensure you are getting all the required grosseries before going there as there are no many shops around the valley and the nearest biggie Supermarket is a bit far.
'The Heavens' is an appropriate name for the property.
It is so tranquil, lush and beautiful.
The cottage is very comfortable.
Thank you for having us!
