The hosts have done a great job styling the bungalow into a Bali style paradise. Located walking distance to CBD and local cafes and some great restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Well appointed character escape within walking distance to the CBD.
Peaceful location with leafy private outdoor spaces. Well equipped and comfortable accommodation with tasteful Indonesian style furnishings adding a special character and feel to our stay.
Great property, very comfortable and exactly as described and photographed. Surprisingly quiet for somewhere so close to the city. Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance (especially the Nepalese one described in the compendium). No hesitation in staying again and will recommended it to friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Lotuseaster. It's a beautifully decorated studio that is a little haven of Balinese-style peace in the middle of the city. It's perfectly located - we rode our pushbikes around, enjoyed the restaurants and cafes nearby and our dog loved his walks in the local park. We will find it hard to stay anywhere else next time we go to Adelaide and would happily recommend it to anyone.
A very peaceful and relaxing place. So much work went into it, all the attention to detail, out of the ordinary. Very reasonable cost. Quiet and private. Thank you Angela.
A quiet and peaceful stay on Adelaide’s southern edge. The bungalow was exactly as advertised and a very pleasant stay. Surprise was relaxing outside with the sounds of birds not traffic. Angela a perfect host. Would recommend.
Wow, the Lotus Eater did not disappoint. Bungalow was absolutely as described and would have no hesitation in recommending it. Thank you Angela for allowing us the use for our short stay.
Excellent location with convenient bus rides to city centre. Local restaurents worth visiting. Bedroom and external patio really lovely.Main reservation is the quirky plumbing. Bathroom taps to sink very stiff. Excessive hot water temperature could be scolding. Need to run hot water before cold ! somewhat unusual.

We expected more.
In summer it would work well but not a place to spend time when it is cold because none of the outside areas are suitable for this. It has no view beyond the back yard at all and all our lives we have experienced accommodation with some sort of view. Therefore, it felt quite claustrophobic to us. Also the advertising gave us the feeling that it was handy to the city. It wasn't so we needed to rent a car.

I’m sorry your stay didn’t meet expectations. Yes there are 2 undercover outdoor areas that naturally are enjoyed more in pleasant weather. The bungalow is set in a tropical garden setting which for an inner suburban property is quite a bonus view wise. The property is located on the edge of the CBD parkland and is walkable or public transport or a quick grab will have you in the city in no time, certainly a car is not needed to access the CBD.
From the moment you walk through the gorgeous front doors you are met with the sounds of tranquility from the water feature. The beautiful balinese decore is prevalent throughout the bungalow, inside and out. Once you are inside it is exactly as the pictures depict. Clean and secluded & owner thought of everything, from vegetable peeler to soup mugs. Coffee machine & even milk in fridge. Comfortable bed is a bonus which is very rare when staying in accommodation. Had a wonderful break & definitely will stay again.
This is simply a beautifuly decorated little hideaway where you can relax and then emerge to find that you are close to everything. Shops and restaurants are walking distance. Adelaide its only minutes away. This setting is unique and has great ambiance. Everything you need is here. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
very cool, spacious and funky house in a nice suburb of Adelaide in walking distance to the CBD, comfortable, clean, quirky, had everything we need and more with 2 terrasses (one for dining, one with comfy sofa and chairs),well-equipped kitchen, on-street parking permit was very useful, very friendly host
Everything was perfect. Communication with the owner was instant. Everything was as nice as in the photos. We stayed during some hot summer days and it was refreshing to sit in this lovely cool spot full of greenery. The place is very private and quiet yet within walking distance to the city. The kitchen had everything we needed. I can highly recommend this property.
