From the moment Jo greeted us to the ending of our stay we felt so welcome and enjoyed our stay immensely. The Property and all the facilities it had to offer, surpassed our expectations. The Location is brilliant. Our little fur baby was right at home. Jo and Bryan have put so much effort into making you feel so relaxed with all the amenities at your reach.
Lovely old world charm and nice big windows, that very comfortably slept 6 adults in 3 rooms with a large bathroom as ensuite between two rooms.
Small kitchenette with all the basics such as fridge, microwave crockery and utensils (except an oven and a dishbrush - the tapwater is really hot! ).
Great rural setting with the property having lots of garden and open areas to explore and enjoy with outdoor tables at different locations on the grounds.
Very short drives (approximately 10-15m) to many wineries, wedding venues and the town in the area.
Jo our host was very helpful with any questions and came over to see we’d settled in a while after our arrival.
My sister and I stayed with our three dogs. The dogs enjoyed the local walks, and the access to nearby dog friendly parks at Yarra Glen and Healesville.
The wildlife (birds and wombats in particular) was amazing. And it was great to see stars at night. Jo was very helpful, particularly when my sister needed some assistance.
By far, the best place to stay with a family and enjoy a true countryside getaway. The hosts are incredibly kind, generous and welcoming to their bit of heaven. Would recommend this stay to anyone wanting to immerse in Yarra Valley comforts, close to so many attractions and impecibly clean and comfortable. Will be back again and will not consider staying anywhere else.
We had a wedding in the Yarra Valley and this was perfect.

Quaint but a little dated
The cottage was nicely decorated and spacious. Super size king bed in the main bedroom. The third bedroom could only be accessed by going outside and with one bathroom for a three-bedroom cottage was not the best. The bathroom features a shower over a deep spar bath which was not good for older guests. On arrival host was not aware of some info on our booking form but easily resolved.
First impression a little run down, but rooms were cosy and clean - would suggest they put curtains at the window instead of thin blinds didn't give you chance to have a sleep in as too light

Enjoyed the ambience
We enjoyed the property however we ran out of hot water one evening and then again the following morning which meant 1 of us missed out on a shower. Also the pillows are really uncomfortable. We did enjoy meeting with the property owners who gave us tips about what was in the area.

Average stay
Cosy, but a little small for a family of 5 (3 kids) Smelt a little "unused" so that wasn't too inviting. Nice breakfast provided and beautiful surrounds.

Peaceful getaway
Really enjoyed our 2 night stay here..
We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which had a snail kitchenette and lounge area. Perfect for two couples. Quiet and peaceful surrounds . Just need to upgrade the pillows as not terribly comfortable .

We had a delightful stay at Holly Lane Mews when attending a winery wedding. It was so lovely to wake up and step outside to say hello to the resident cows and horses! The B&B was clean and well stocked with essentials, and the owner couldn't be more helpful. We would be very happy to stay again, or recommend it to others.

What a beautiful and relaxing place Holly Lane Mews is. From the moment you arrive you are quietly spoiled - fantastic location, tasteful and comfortable accommodation, peace and quiet and stocked fridge! The kids loved the varied animals - our youngest loved Rex the cockatoo and our daughter re named her favourite horse 'Emma'. Emma was visited every day and was photographed often. They also loved the pool. A taxi service is available from the premises and this was priceless as we had a wedding at a neighbouring winery during our stay. Just brilliant! Would totally recommend this perfect place to anyone wanting an oasis surrounded by beautiful countryside and wine!!

When I was seeking accommodation in this area, I had two requirements. Firstly only a one night stay and secondly pet dog allowed. Holly Lane Mews allowed both and we had a most enjoyable stay.Friendly hosts, very comfortable bed, lovely garden and lovely surrounding countryside for walking. The breakfast provisions were excellent. Highly recommended.
