This recently renovated three bedroom cottage is a short stroll to Avalon beach where guests have access to a world famous surf break, rock and beach fishing and the ocean pool. Take a leisurely morning stroll along the beach and start the day with an awe inspiring sunrise.

The home is neat and clean comprising a large open plan living area. There are three bedrooms, a new bathroom and laundry. The living area features spotted gum timber floors, gorgeous timber and leather furniture and pool table.

The bedrooms have a fun, beachy feel and can sleep up to seven guests. The main bedroom has a queen bed. The new second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has bunk beds plus a single bed.

The home is located in the quite residential enclave of North Avalon.

Avalon Beach Retreat is a short 10 minute level walk to Avalon village for cafes, restaurants, cinema and shops.

Avalon Beach Retreat is one of two houses on a large subdivided block. Both are completely separate and fenced and have their own entrances on opposite sides of the property and gardens. It's no different to having neighbours on the side except its quieter because you are away from the road. Only the parking area at the front of the property is shared. I live in the house at the front of the block.

Avalon Beach Retreat is an amazing place to stay for just a weekend or a longer visit. The layout of the property was fabulous with all rooms off the main area. We stayed for a wedding in the area and loved how the family could enjoy the area and place. Pool table to in the open plan living area was a great idea. Well-presented property with quality appliances and ample supply of cutlery, crockery, consumables, board games and novels. Everything to make an extended stay comfortable. The pool table was a hit with the grandchildren. The box of chocolates on arrival was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Would have loved an ensuite.

Garden sanctuary by the beach

A fantastic little spot near beautiful Avalon. A beautiful large space perfect for getting together with family and enjoying good company. Paired with a beautiful little garden sanctuary where you can soak up the sun or let the kids play safely chasing butterflies and picking flowers. Friendly hosts who were super accomodating and welcoming. Avalon itself is a short walk along a nice path to shops, cafes and restaurants.

Perfect for the weekend we planned

Great location for what we needed. We staying in a couple of stayz houses for our wedding. This house was perfect for the boys to stay in the night before the wedding and get ready in. The pool table was great for them. It had everything they needed and because it was close to our other accommodation we could easily meet up and walk around. It helped us plan the best weekend for our bridal party!!!

We stayed at this beautiful accommodation to attend a wedding in the area. It was perfect for our needs. An ideal retreat for couples or a family group. It is pet friendly with a lovely garden area, in a quiet location with a two minute walk to beach. Spotlessly clean, with everything you could want for the perfect getaway. Surf trip

We had a fantastic time exploring all the local beaches and their surf. Avalon was a barefoot walk away, we also explored Palm beach, Newport and Collaroy. The garden was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the afternoon sun. We also had pool championship most evenings - we’d love to return and do it all over again

Perfect break from the city

It was the perfect place for a break from the city - a lovely space, really uncluttered and light, but not lacking in character. It was spotlessly clean and in greta location so close to North Avalon beach. We spent the evenings watching surfers and dolphins, and enjoyed some of the great dining options nearby in Palm Beach. I would thoroughly recommend and I would definitely go back. Wonderful.

Spacious and comfortable beach house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lovely Avalon Beach Retreat. Light and airy a peaceful house with a very short walk to the surf beach and clean tidal pool. A lovely tropical scented gardens to sit and relax in. Cafes, restaurants and shops are also within a pleasant walking distance. All creature comforts are supplied, and thanks David for the chocolates they were a nice welcome.
