• You get to experience ever changing vistas of the ocean from your balcony, living areas and kitchen.

• You look out across the ocean to the Tollgate Islands, with a bonus of having a beautiful nature reserve in front of you with large spotted gum trees.

• If you are a family, you can watch the children play cricket, football or ride their bike, as you relax on your balcony, and not to have to worry what they are doing.


• You not only have Denham’s Beach to enjoy and frolic in the water, but you are able to walk around to Surf Beach, which is patrolled in summer and has a play area for the small ones, whilst you enjoy a coffee.

• Wimbie Beach adjoins Surf Beach, with this beach having no waves, so suitable for the tiny tots. Just a beautiful beach walk around the three beaches, and all on your doorstep.

• We have the little extras that may make it easier if traveling with an infant: Port-a-cot (need to bring your own linen) and a highchair.

• There are flippers, bogie boards, sand buckets/ spades and balls that we hope that you use during your stay.

And not least, there are several games- for the family to have fun, whilst playing together.

BOOKINGS:
Whilst we offer a two (2) nights minimum stay for convenience of guests who are only able to escape away for 2 nights, especially at weekends, there are times where the required minimum stay is longer.

We welcome stays of three (3) days or longer during school holidays and long weekends, up to the 20th of December, from when a minimum of 5-7 days is required up until the end of January- Saturday to Saturday where possible.

• A large spacious three-bedroom villa, which sleeps six guests comfortably
• Provides expansive open plan living
• Ultra-modern kitchen, fully equipped with basic condiments, tea, coffee, sugar,
and milk.
• Espresso coffee maker- with a number of coffee pods to get you started
• Modern full bathroom – with ceiling heater
• En-suite with shower and corner bath- ceiling heater and an adjacent walk-in
robe.
• Separate toilet room
• Living and dining areas overlook Denham’s Beach
• Large balcony overlooks Denham’s Beach and is great for entertaining, with a
large BBQ and outdoor setting
• Reverse cycle air conditioning in living areas and ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
• Remote Control Garage
• Large LG Smart TV with a sound system in the living area /TV in 2 bedrooms
• All linen and towels supplied, except for beach towels and linen for the port-a
cot.


The LOCATION

• Denhams Beach Retreat is situated 7 km south of Batemans Bay, next to Surf Beach.
• For those travelling from Canberra it is a 2-hour drive, 4 hours from Sydney and 1 and a half drive from Goulburn.

JUST OUTSIDE

• Whether you want to swim, surf, paddle in the water, explore the rock pools, walk the beaches, or build sandcastles, they are all at your doorstep to enjoy.

• Denham’s Beach is sheltered by rocky headlands, with good sized surf on most days and is popular with board riders and has great snorkelling around the rocks at the far end.

• Surf Beach, which is an easy walk around from Denham’s Beach has a small shopping Centre. There is a Chinese Restaurant- eat in or take away, Cafe, Piccolo’s for pizza, Fish and Chip- eat in or take away, A Chemist, Medical Centre, an AGA Supermarket, Hairdresser and Bottle Shop.

• There is also a Beach Store that has newspapers and takeaway food.

WHAT CAN I DO?

• After a relaxing swim and surf, soaking up the sun on the sand, exercising your toes in the sand you might like to explore the other wonderful delights that awaits you.

• Why not try kayaking – different tours can be arranged whether you are seeking a peaceful or adventurous journey.


• Paddle board the estuary shallows where you can stop for swims on the way.

• If you like fishing the region boosts some of Australia's finest estuary, beach, rock and offshore fishing.

• National parks and state forests are bushwalkers dream, allowing for easy paced to more challenging walks.

• If you are into photography, you will be in dream world.

• Golf: Catalina Golf Country Club boasts a 27-hole championship golf course.

• Mogo - Steeped in the rich history of gold - Mogo has a village atmosphere and a variety of specialty shops and galleries.

• Markets – several markets are held around the Eurobodalla region, with Batehaven on the 1st Sunday of the month and Moruya on every Saturday.


• Wining and dining - the seafood is superb, includes oysters, lobsters, prawns, crabs, and a variety of quality fish. There are several specialty waterfront restaurants that have stunning views of the water.
