The Goose Shed Function Centre

It is a timber and iron building that started life as a sturdy jarrah machinery shed but now hosts great events such as conferences, retreats and accommodation for groups such as bike riders, craft groups, 4WD clubs. We can organise catering for you or you can utilise the kitchen facilities to self cater. The 'Goose Shed' is wheel chair friendly, and overlooks lakes, abundant wildlife and farm pets such as alpacas, sheep and goats. You can hit a golf ball in the paddocks, kick the footy, hit a six or fly a kite. Kids can get back in touch with nature.
It is ideal for corporate or family gatherings, and we can organise packages to suit your requirements.

Why they chose this property

We are tree changers from Perth, drawn to the south west because of its beauty, climate and incredible food, wine and scenery. Loose Goose Chalets is surrounded on 3 sides by state forest so its quiet, peaceful but full of potential for activity too. We chose Nannup for its amazing sense of community, the peace and quiet. Nannup has an amazing arts culture from artists, sculptors, writers and musicians to fine furniture craftsmen.... and there's the foodies paradise with local honey, wine, sheep cheese, produce... Nannup also has the best roads and tracks for pushbike, mountain bikes and road bikes! The Timberline Trail walk, horse and pushbike track is our back boundary!

What makes this property unique

Loose Goose Chalets is just 6 kms from town and surrounded by state forest on 3 sides. We are a great base for day trips out to the various attractions from beaches to forests. We also chose it as it offers a base for activities from canoeing the Blackwood, walking the Bibbulmun, riding the Munda Biddi, swimming in the Blackwood River.
