Lovely cottage. A little hidden gem amongst industry and a perfect base to branch out when exploring. Nice walk with Pearl (doggy) along Duck River. Host is generous with pretty much all you need already in the cottage. Definitely recommend.
Great place to stay. Walking distance to town and mostly quiet. Only thing I could say is maybe some electric blankets in front room as it got very cold in early morning and didn't find extra blankets until next morning but otherwise loved staying here.

Accessible to town
Clean bathrooms, bedroom, living & dining. Accessible town. Well covered off street parking. With washer, dryer and other amenities if needed.
Excellent facilities & very comfortable. Neat & clean inside. The double beds were very comfortable. Located in a very quiet street there was little to no noise. The property did look a little shabby on the outside & was located close to an industrial area. However there was little to no industrial noise when we stayed.
Surprisingly large interior Exterior didnt do justice gardens need attention and front bedroom window full of dry rot Conveniently located

Thanks very much Jill,
Yes the interior has been fully renovated including, new pure wool carpets, new plaster, paint, two new bathrooms and granite bench top kitchen.
Exterior was freshly painted several years ago but is in need of a new coat of paint which is what we plan to have done this Summer.
Including replacing that exterior window sill.
So glad you enjoyed your stay 🙂
Best Regards, Grace and Michael.
We were really impressed with the comfort and general standard of the accommodation. Three great bedrooms, a spacious living area, dual bathrooms and the whole setup fully equipped.
Heaps of securely fenced lawn yardage for the pooch, under-cover off-street (and out of sight) parking, too...
The location was VERY close to the town centre, but surprisingly quiet.
Thanks heaps, Michael. We'll most definitely be back!!
We enjoyed everything about our stay at Grace Cottage . And our Dogs loved it also .

Most unsatisfactory
Location overlooking industrial carpark was dismal. Fencing was seriously inadequate - main gate is not attached and just falls over and path gate has no latch. For a ‘dog friendly’ property this meant either cage the dogs in small enclosure in back yard, or keep all doors to the house shut for their safety. Given the windows can’t be opened this made for a stifling experience. The back bedroom was so hot my mother couldn’t use it to rest in. Finally - to let the home to five adults without mentioning that the dining table only seats four and there isn’t even a spare chair of appropriate height to squeeze in a fifth person seemed most unfair. I’m glad the weather was great - because playing the board games we brought along would not have been possible. Our day trips were fabulous - love the NW coast of Tassie. Also the terrific heated pool facilities next door were a definite plus.

Hi Gilliam, we really appreciate nyour feed back, when our local council built the multi million dollar indoor pool just on the other side of the parklands beside Grace's Spa Cottage, they built a new fence between us and the parklands.
Just today 12/1/2021 our local builder re fitted the front gates as well as another 2 huge gates which will give your pet dogs the whole back yard right up to the back door.
He will pop back next week to fix the windows which were painted and made them difficult to open.
I own the furniture shop across the road and so have ordered a new 7 piece extendable dining suite which will cater better for larger groups of people, that should arrive February 2021.
Our air conditioning keeps the cottage nice and cool on those hot days, but yes an open window is nice.
We also love the huge parkland next door and the heated indoor pool over the back fence as well :)
Delightful accommodation, clean, very well appointed with every home comfort. Well located to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. Would certainly stay there again.
