We were there for a week. Our puppies lived it. First experience for them in acerage
Perfect and peaceful
The Perch was exactly what we were looking for to rest up for a week with our dog and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Absolutely stunning Hinterland views and short car ride to Byron Bay, surrounding beaches, amazing view points and lovely little local towns
Highly recommend, even all the way from Sydney by car!
We didn't want to leave.. Ever!
What a magnificent place to stay. The natural beauty was so enjoyable,.. birdlife, plants, regular visits from the peacock brigade! Great privacy and so much space to walk with dog. Good location for exploring areas outside of Byron. Would highly recommend
Perched high on a hill
Centrally located cottage with magnificent views to Byron Lighthouse in a peaceful and relaxing setting. Buddy my dog loved his walks to the nearby lake. Jenny and Mark were the perfect hosts.
Restful, rainy trip.
Beautiful, quirky little getaway nestled in the Byron Bay Hinterland. All you could want for a quiet few days in the middle of beautiful scenery. A quick car ride away from Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads and more bohemian small towns or just chill and take in the view. The only thing that impeded on our enjoyment was 7 days of unseasonal rain as we could not enjoy the deck and the views to their full potential but we will be back to see the area in better weather. Made friends with a couple of the natural inhabitants (possums) and still managed to get a few walks with our little dog in despite the wet. The front deck (when it was dry) was the perfect place to chill with a glass of wine and watch nature in all it's glory. And the bed was the comfiest I have ever slept in!!!!! Would recommend this place to anybody and hope to return in Spring or Summer.
Thank you Dean & Lorraine you were the perfect guests. Thank you being so respectful to the local inhabitants ( I hope the neighbours peacocks weren’t too noisy) and thank you for leaving everything so lovely at The Perch. You are welcomed back anytime.
