Situated in a quiet lane on five acres in the hinterland of Byron Bay, Byron's Secret is a private, luxurious self-contained studio for couples seeking a respite from the hectic hustle and bustle of everyday life.

If you crave serenity, luxury romance, indulgence, then Byron's Secret is for you.

The accommodation commands sensational 180 degree views over the valley of Myocum to the seascape of Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads. Mount Chincogan can be seen as well. All these views can also be seen from the 20 metre lap pool. Guests have their own private deck at the pool.

Byron's Secret consists of a well-equipped kitchen with a Fisher and Paykel dishwasher drawer, microwave, a Ninja airfryer and automatic coffee machine. On the deck there is a BBQ with wok burner. The dining table can seat up to four people.

The accommodation provides a comfortable lounge suitable for an afternoon nap or a place to curl up with a riveting read from the expansive library on offer. The Smart TV and quality hi fi system can be viewed from the lounge or the bed.

A deep enamelled steel bath for two takes pride of place in the bathroom. There are rustic Indian shutters that, when open, reveal the expansive sea view or when drawn add to the ambience of an indulgent late afternoon in bubbles. A generous shower easily accommodates two.

A luxurious pillow top queen size bed dominates the sleeping area. Snuggled up in 100% linen sheets and Sheridan linen quilt, you will be assured of a sound night's sleep in Byron's Secret.

Byron's Secret's luxurious hinterland accommodation is only fifteen minutes from the pristine beaches of Byron Bay. It is also just eight minutes to the funky villages of Bangalow and Mullumbimby with their many cafes, restaurants and shops.

Those guests who are travelling to the annual Byron Bay Blues Fest are only fifteen minutes away and can enjoy a traffic free journey through the town of Mullumbimby that brings you out right at the Blues Fest site.

Great location (not too far from Mullum, Brunz, Federal and Byron Bay), but still completely private and peaceful. Friendly and generous hosts, beautiful and cozy decor, lap pool and the piece de resistance: that view! Highly recommend to couples who want to get away from it all but also have things relatively close-at/hand. We will certainly be going back!

We had a great stay at the property. It’s the ideal spot for a quiet and romantic getaway with your partner, or just to chill out for a few days. The views from the cabin are amazing. Also the little touches such as wine, cheese and choc bliss balls on arrival were much appreciated. Highly recommended!

Stunning views as per listing, unfortunately is in need of a little TLC. ie unsafe stainless wires on deck, spider webs, broken fly screens ( host informed they were to be replaced).Parking space over grown leaving vechicle filthy.pool area unsafe for a guests to access, open trench, open skimmer boxes, exposed wiring. Our stay was ever so peaceful except for yapping dogs.

I understand your disappointment, Andrew. However, we were well into 'TLC mode"by fixing the drainage next to the pool - hence, the 20cm wide trench. There were no live wires and the skimmer boxes are now covered since our cleaning. The drainage is now fixed (18/10/25) and the trench is no longer open. I found spider webs on the street entrance to the studio which have been removed. As mentioned, the new fireproof screens are on order (a 4 wk wait). A handy man is fixing the balustrade wire (which was bent by a guest) today, Saturday. The tiger grass in the parking area has been cut back. The dogs have been chastised as has my husband who bought them a new toy - hence, the barking at 5.30pm after their dinner and in play time. I too am disappointed - sad that given our initial friendly exchange, you could not approach me with your concerns during your stay. I am very approachable and pro-active. We have had the studio for 11 years with glowing reviews. I intend to keep it that way.

Booked for 4 nights and only stayed for 1 night due to an absolute terrible bed, secondly the property is so tiny we got cabin fever after 1 hour also you have no privacy as the owners are right below you definitely a place I would not recommend Regards very unhappy customer

Dear Matt We are sorry that you felt your needs were not met. However, they were never going to be for several reasons: - The studio was designed and is advertised for couples only yet you brought your two children (7 & 11) with you. I realise this was unforeseen on your part yet the studio was never going to accommodate the four of you. We state clearly on this site: "No children or pets". - The studio is on our property but we have ensured that entry to it is via a private courtyard and have placed plants on the deck to screen guests from our house which is 30 metres away. Guests are greeted on arrival and most often we don't see them for days. We take pride in offering luxurious, private accommodation for couples. The studio is cleaned meticulously each time and is presented beautifully for guests. Every detail has been thought of to ensure a relaxing and indulgent stay for guests. This includes an expensive latex pillow top mattress. Although I do understand that this type of bed does not suit all, it has been a feature of many guests' stay (see reviews below). I am disappointed that we could not have worked out a suitable solution for you as you left before we could discuss it. Kind regards, Catherine

Just Perfect!

We stayed at this property last weekend and were so impressed. The studio was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything is good quality. The view was truly spectacular and we loved watching the showers of rain coming across the valley. Was so lovely waking up to the sunshine and lying in bed looking out to the ocean in the distance. All the little extra touches like breakfast supplies in the fridge, pod coffee machine, home-made bikkies and tealight candles were very appreciated. Loved the big bathroom including the freestanding bath and enjoyed the comfy bed with beautiful quality linen sheets. Although situated on a very quiet lane (so peaceful!), quite close to cafes at Bangalow and Byron Bay only a short drive as well. Catherine is a very friendly and thoughtful host. The only downside was that our stay couldn't be longer. Highly recommended!
