Bedrock is ideal for a large family or a group of friends travelling together or gathering for a special occasion.

Elevated into the coastal ranges, the home was designed to maximise the tropical breezes and views to the reef and islands (even from the downstairs apartment).

The sublime indoor/outdoor living spaces allow everyone to make the most of relaxing quietly or socialising constantly. Bedrock has a gourmet Miele appointed kitchen with gas cooktop that makes preparing meals a breeze. You can choose from dining indoors around the 8 seater table or dine on the back deck which also seats 8 around a Teak outdoor setting and really enjoy being in the tropics. The kitchen island will allow all to gather around to enjoy a meal or make plans for your stay.

The property is on a 1000sq metre fully fenced block. The lush gardens and large grass lawns allow for plenty of outdoor family fun when you want to enjoy the amazing Cairns climate, and whilst enjoying the gardens you can jump in and out of the pool or relax on the pool deck.

For those days when it does rain, the generous rear balcony provides an entertaining or recreational area protected from the wind and rain for all the family to enjoy. For more competitive families, the table tennis table in the garage is perfect for family championships, or board games such as Monopoly, Pictionary and Jenga will give plenty of exciting moments.

For designated lazy days staying at Bedrock, there are 2 TV's, with Netflix available on both TV's, so adults and children can both watch their favourite programmes.

You are only a 3 minute drive to the heart of Palm Cove and its restaurants and bars, or it is a very leisurely 20 minute walk. Perfect for an evening meal or nightcap with a peaceful stroll home.

BEDROCK is only minutes from Palm Cove, which has some world renowned restaurants and bars. 'Nu Nu's' is frequently acclaimed by the media for their food, wine list and service.

Chill cafe, opposite NuNu's at the Southern end of the esplanade is great for breakfast or a coffee throughout the day and is one of our favourites.

Other restaurants and bars definitely worthy of a visit include Vivo's and The Rising Sun. Most restaurants serve food all day including breakfast. For a more informal venue try the Palm Cove Surf Club.

10 minutes south of the house is Cairns Sky Rail where you can take a gondola above the rainforest and then explore the markets and cultural attractions of Kuranda village in the hills. At the same location is Tjabukai aboriginal park, displaying aboriginal culture and history.

Next door is the Cairns Cable Ski Park for the more adventurous providing wake boarding, water skiing and knee boarding. Lessons are available for those wanting to learn.

30 minutes drive to the North of Palm Cove is Port Douglas, with its shopping, restaurants and local cultural activities. Just North of Port is Mossman Gorge which is amazing for a swim. Further North is the heritage listed Daintree Rainforest, with Cape Tribulation.
