The upstairs master bedroom has its own private balcony overlooking False River. Château Jarreau offers an entertainment deck literally over the lake. There is a wraparound boardwalk that extends across the property and a fishing pier with a screened in porch offering a swing and chairs. Whether you like to swim, fish, sunbathe or just hang out with friends and family this place is perfectly set up for all the above. Peaceful 3 Day Stay

Really enjoyed our 3 days stay at this rustic place. Furnished nicely and plenty of room inside and out and very quiet and relaxing with great views. The owner Emmett was very accommodating the whole time. We rented the pontoon boat which topped off the experience. The weather was perfect which made the stay even better. Great place to stay!

It was grandkids (teens), one of their parents, and grandma and grandpa. Location was great—quiet. The house was spacious and comfortable with great views of the lake. We were close enough to town to pick up supplies. The music theme was a hit! Loved our stay! Hope to be back soon.

Perfect Christmas Gathering Spot

We selected False River and this property as a meeting location for family to spend the holidays together. The main floor was perfect for visiting, playing games, and celebrating. We used the outdoor fire pit for two days straight. The bedrooms were spacious and the dock area was amazing. What a great spot!
