Quaint and quiet
The condo was great. Parking was just outside of the front door. Leaving shoes outside was nice as the patio area was quite large. The rooms were clean and spacious. The air conditioners in each bedroom were very efficient. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The bedding was comfortable and there are several pillow types to choose from. The closest beach is just a 5 minute walk. The kitchen was a little bit small and it didn’t have all of the appliances that we use most often (like a rice cooker and crockpot) but we made do. The cooler provided was very small and the lid didn’t stay closed so we bought a large cooler at left it at the property in the closet and hopefully it will be appreciated. There weren’t white towels anywhere which are supposed to be the bathroom towels, but there were plenty of dark gray towels and that’s what we used. There are a lot of beach towels too. Cooking inside heats up the house pretty quickly and so does running the dryer. We would try to wash and dry clothes at night and then only cooked a couple of nights for dinner. The first night we left our snorkeling gear on the patio hanging on the hooks by the door and we got a note from management saying shoes were the only thing allowed outside so keep that in mind. The floors could use a professional cleaning and so could the carpets, but we really weren’t inside much so it didn’t really bother me. Overall it was great for our family and I recommend it to anyone looking for a laidback Hawaii rental!
