When it comes to the most exclusive Perth Tasmania accommodation, the Stone House exceeds all expectations. Just a 20 minute drive to the heart of Launceston.

​The Stone House dates back to circa 1825, built for Rev John Youl - encasing Tasmania's first Northern clergyman's significance and Perth's importance in the region.

The property is a Listed Georgian Home with original cedar panelling, fan lights and rubble and bluestone walls - built by convicts.

​The Accommodation is 5 Star rated,numerous bedrooms and bathrooms, formal living room and dining room, large country kitchen, conservatory, and a separate television room. The Stone House is quite simply a home away from home, where 'little things' make a difference.

​The Garden offers peace and tranquillity - walk around admiring Old English traditional flowers or beautiful old trees (said to have the oldest Magnolia in Tasmania), or grab a book to sit and read amidst the pockets of greenery.

The Caretaker’s wing offers an extra bedroom, bathroom and private sitting area. This can be booked at an additional cost of $350 per night for up to 2 guests.

Discounted rates for 7-night bookings.

The Spa is offered for a 7-night minimum booking. A $250 cleaning fee will occur for shorter stays if the spa is required.
