A wonderful property surrounded by beautiful gardens and trees - plenty of room and everything you need for a luxurious, leisurely break away from home.
Stylish & historic accommodation for our whole family
A truly beautiful property, tastefully presented. We were a family group of 11, ranging in age from 18 months to 85 years, and this property suited us perfectly (after we hid away a few delightful but too tempting pieces of décor for an 18 mths old to reliably resist). As we visited in January the pool and hot tub were also well used. Thanks for having us to stay.
The house is amazing. The size and the historic features are beautiful, from the huge conservatory to the wonderful sitting room and open fire. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole house is well heated. We didn't use the dining room but we could imagine a memorable meal there, with drinks from the incredible drinks nook. The gardens are beautiful although we didn't venture outside much (in June) or get the chance to try the pool. The river walk across the road is great. Very convenient to Launceston also.
Wonderful experience all round. Location was great too.
Beautiful house, well kept, with lots of unexpected extras. Suitable for 4-5 couples to share with plenty of space for quiet moments, and great, large conservatory to come together as a group. Location is good - immediate outlook over the river is pleasant, but Perth turned out to be within reasonable access to many of the tourist destinations in the north of Tassie.
An exceptional property which perfectly suited a gathering of our extended Tasmanian family to catch up and relax.
The gardens are amazing providing many quiet nooks for a quiet chat, with the conservatory an exceptional room for large groups.
We had a fantastic stay and will return.
