The property owner was responsive to all queries and very easy to communicate with. Was extremely generous with a late check out request. The property is located in a great position and easy walking distance to all amenities. I would highly this property and will be my first choice when I next visit Darwin.

Crying shame

I concur with the review of Jacqui H of May 2021. Nothing has been resolved in way of the oven and also the cooktop being repaired hence we had no cooking facilities to use when this is a self catering apartment. The blinds are still rusty and mouldy and is the air conditioning. The state of the disintegrating carpet is awful. Fan in the ensuite needs cleaning as do the cobwebs in the dining space. The smoke alarm nearest to the kitchen and main bedroom did not have batteries which is disturbing and unsafe. A deep clean is required and repairs need to be made as a priority and this property should not be rented out again until they have been. I contacted the owner about my concerns and received no response. Furthermore I have requested a partial refund as I believe that we shouldn’t be paying top dollar for a property in this state. Also there is NO wifi!! It really is a crying shame as it is otherwise a lovely, spacious apartment in a convenient location.

Great location close to restaurants, shops & view of grassland & ocean from front corner balcony. Pools are lovely. However, aircon smells heavily of mould, had to have doors open to cope with the smell. Oven broken & kitchen facilities a bit lacking, crockery chipped, rusty bowls. Blinds in bedroom mouldy & rusty. Carpet has a major carpet beetle infestation with the carpet heavily eaten all around the edges & holes right through. When I asked if the carpet had been treated the owner didn’t respond to my message...this made me nervous that the beetle would get into our belongings. Came home & washed everything!!

Fantastic apartment!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Steinbecks Steinbecks. Great location with ocean views. CBD shopping and attractions, waterfront restaurants and Mindil Sunset Markets are all within walking distance. The modern apartment has very spacious accommodation and a well equipped kitchen and access to 2 pools and a gym. The owners were very helpful and easy to deal with. Would thoroughly recommend.
