Every Memorial Day weekend we come down to Shell Knob and gather with family that stays close by. We are fortunate to be able to rent this place for myself and daughter’s family. It’s close enough where they stay and we enjoy this property. It accommodates with the spacious floor plans. Beds are comfortable enough. Bathrooms are great.
House was very clean and had great amenities. We had a great time playing table tennis!! It was a great trip!!

Great space!!
Beautiful house close to Campbell point in shell knob. Recently updated and comes with everything you need. Plenty of room to bring the whole family and relax and enjoy your time at the lake.
We had a great time at this house. Don’t let the old reviews scare you away from this property. There is plenty of room, very clean and the owner was very responsive when we needed something or had questions. This place is very quiet with a great view of Table Rock Lake. Will be back for sure.
Very spacious home and very clean. Decent view of the lake from the living room and one bedroom. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked well, and showers had plenty of water pressure. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 downstairs (1 queen, 1 king) and 2 upstairs (both queens). Very limited kitchen cooking items but that is stated. It's enough to do breakfast, which we did. There's a security system if you choose to use it. The grocery store is about 5 minutes away, along with some other local stores. It is an older home but with updated features. We enjoyed our stay and didn't experience any problems.

Hi Shawna, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that’s fully ready for their stay, so we're disappointed to hear about the issues you experienced. After sharing your feedback with the homeowner, they’d like to provide the following details:-They were happy to accommodate your early check-in to support your wedding plans.-While there was an unexpected issue with the A/C, the homeowner worked quickly to resolve it, coordinating with a service technician and delivering the necessary part within the hour.-The plumbing issue you encountered was due to a blockage in the sewer line caused by a root obstruction. The homeowner has since had this professionally repaired to prevent any future disruptions.Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re confident that future guests will have a smooth and comfortable stay, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again!

Christmas
The house was nice. The furniture needs to be updated.
My wife and I stayed in a friend's lakeside property where we held the wedding. We booked this house for the wedding party. The house was so much more than what we expected and helped out wedding relax. Everything went seamless with renting and check in. Extremely happy that we rented this house

Quiet but needs to be cleaned better
Overall, this place was quiet and accommodated our family of 7 adults and a 19 month old for Thanksgiving. The maid service is not the best; there was an inch or two of dust on the ceiling fan so we couldn't use that, the window sills were very dirty, and the coffee table and surfaces were dusty. A bar stool broke, the ice maker in the fridge didn't work, and the temperature of the downstairs area is 10 degrees cooler than the upstairs. The location was not bad at all just not close to Branson (an hous away) and we didn't pay attention to that when booking.
This house was overall nice to stay in for Thanksgiving just not what I expected for my first time staying in an vrbo.
The guest contact, however, was friendly, responsive, and informative so she deserves 5 stars!
This could be a great place with a little cleaning. There way tons of dirt & hair (probably dog) everywhere!! Don’t think it has been swept / clean for a while. Almost every lamp was either unplugged or had no light bulb.
Instead of writing a book about our stay I am going to list the pros and cons:
Cons:
*our biggest complaint is that as soon as we entered the house it smelled but we could not quite figure out what the smell was? We noticed there were air fresheners EVERYWHERE. We finally figured out where the smell was coming from once we showered for the night...the plumbing. It smells like sewage when you shower and completely over takes the basement.
*uncomfortable beds-one of the rooms the headboard is leaned against the wall not fastened to the bed.
*We have stayed in other homes where the kitchen is more furnished than this one. I know it says in the description that it contains “some” amenities, but be prepared to have to purchase quite a few items.
*I would have a conversation with the cleaning service you use. The house was not as clean as you would expect upon arrival.
Pros:
*close to town
*close to the boat ramp
*Spacious home
Overall our group feels as though we paid more for this house than what you get out of it experience wise. There are a few items that need to be taken care of before other people stay at the property.

Anna, We're sorry to hear that you experienced some issues during your stay. We have relayed your feedback to the homeowner, and we'd like to clarify the following:
-When notified of this concern after your stay, the owners acted immediately, and they are sending out a plumber to inspect the smell.
-They wish you would have reached out during residence about these issues. The owner is always more than happy to help, and they would have sent someone over to handle the issues right away.
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review!
I truly enjoyed our stay. I would rent the house again. There was one issue and that was a smell in the house especially down stairs and the whole house that was not good at all. Other than that it was wonderful. The owner was very accommodating and pleasant. Thank you.
Property was very spacious and comfortable for our family.
stairs to the basemant/lower level were very steep for our young grandchildren, but we only used them for bedtime. There was plenty of room upstairs for our dinner and evening activities. Close proximity to Campbell Point Marina and Shell Knob shopping, although we really only played on the lake for most of our time in the area.
The property was spacious enough for our family gathering and served well for meals and rest while on the lake. The stairs to the lower level are a bit difficult. The sloped parking can be a challenge. And a few more towels available would help. Overall it really met out needs and a great gathering place for our family

Pictures are deceiving
This property is a quick flip. The A/C doesn’t work properly, and there is a major water issue in the basement. The floors throughout the basement were constantly damp. This was regardless of the leak through the back door. The kids had to have shoes on down there at all times. Lots of structural issues are causing many issues for this house. The house wasn’t cleaned well before we came for our stay. We would not stay here again.

Stephanie, thanks for taking the time to review your stay. We want everyone to rest easy when they stay with us, and we hate that you weren't able to enjoy your stay. We've shared your comments with the homeowner, and wanted to address a few things:
- The homeowners have had this home for several years and have hosted many happy guests. They would have loved to have the opportunity to correct any issues you had immediately.
- There was a leak in the basement before your stay due to flooding conditions. The homeowners identified this issue and applied a temporary fix for your arrival. We're so sorry you still had an issue - we'll make sure that this is taken care of.
We really appreciate your feedback and we're looking forward to addressing your concerns so future guests can have an enjoyable stay. Thank you again.
