The property was delightful with a restful vibe being on the Murray River. We are a family of 6 so I travel with everything (just in case) but found the host had thought of everything a family could need. We would love to be return guests.

We had such a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. Being right on the river makes it extra special. we loved waking up to the peaceful water views and spending time outside just enjoying the setting. It felt private and quiet, yet still had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back!

Great location and stay

This very well equipped property, particularly the kitchen is in a great location on the river - a fantastic family stay. It was cool overnight during our stay but slow combustion heater and individual room heaters made it very comfortable. Communications were prompt & helpful. Highly recommend & would stay there again when in the area.

Anzac Long Weekend 25

The house was in a great location. Really nice gardens, the house had everything we could need. Great spot for families, quite spot on the river and further enough from the road for privacy and noise. We would highly recommend this property and will be back in the future.

Great spot and house

The property is great for all types of groups. We were a group of workers but could easily be a family trip or friends trip with the river just there and the room in the house with plenty to do.

I cannot rate this experience highly enough from start to finish and every thing in-between!We woke from a comfortable warm sleep, pushed back the curtains to see rolling green grass down to the river edge, watched the birds waking busily starting their day!I picked fresh oranges from the garden behind, squeezed juice as the morning sunrise gently shone through the kitchen window, and out to sit in the garden for breakfast watching the world go by.We meandered around the garden eating fresh mulberries, enjoyed lunch out under the verandah and sat in the peaceful garden........watching the house boats go by!The afternoon was spent lazing on the grass reading a book in the warmth of the sunwatching the kookaburras feed in the hollows of the ancient river red gums.A glass of wine was enjoyed whilst cooking a BBQ dinner and watching the spectacular river sparkle like diamonds as the sun sunk behind the Australian bush, giving us the most stunning sunsets. Our host Greg was so generous with his time and kindly dropped off fresh avocados and so easily accommodated our request for one more day and then just one more day!Simply a magical place!

What a spot!

Myself and 3 other work mates stayed for 2 weeks and could not have been happier! Watching people water ski in the afternoon, going for a swim, cooking up a storm in the kitchen and on the BBQ, plenty of table tennis tournaments and absolute peace and quite. Awesome place, would highly reccomend!
