Welcome to our beautifully furnished, colonial-style townhome just minutes from MARC station with great proximity to DC, Baltimore, Annapolis, Historic Ellicott City--truly central to unlimited historical sites, restaurants, shopping and more!
Should we enjoy a movie, relax on a hammock in the screened-in outdoor space or go sightseeing? That’s the question! Located just 15 mins from BWI and within 5 mins from highway, MARC (w/ trains leaving regularly to DC & Balt), Ft. Meade and walking trails.
The Space:
The front door opens into a light-soaked living area with high ceilings and bay windows. Living room has plenty of seating and, if you are unable to leave work behind, a carefully restored antique desk provides a great work space.
Spacious kitchen/dining area has room for 10 at a table a large, granite island. Kitchen door opens into a furnished, screened-in outdoor space with a hammock chair and nostalgic, string lighting--the area is a perfect place for catching up on emails or visiting with loved ones. The first level of the home also has a half bath and a laundry room (stocked with detergent). If you need a microwave, there is one on top of the dryer (across from the pantry).
There are no TVs in the bedrooms, but you can head downstairs to unwind in front of a beautifully framed 70” HD TV with 5.1 surround sound (fireplace is for decorative purposes only). There is room for everyone on the large and very comfortable sectional, and the upholstered, storage ottoman provides much-needed rest for tired feet after a day of sightseeing (open it up for additional cozy blankets).
The upper floor has three thoughtfully decorated bedrooms and two full baths. The primary suite features vaulted ceilings, a walk-in closet, a comfortable king-sized bed (with down comforter and pillows) and a bathroom with a marble-topped, double-sink vanity, a large soaking tub, a newly tiled shower and soft bath towels. An additional room in basement will only be prepared and made available for bookings with 8-9 guests including kids (more info below).
The colonial-style townhome is located on a quite cul de sac only minutes from a MARC station (Uber and Lift are readily accessible, if needed). There is a large side yard with a swing and plenty of parking in the driveway. Neighborhood playground is walking distance and incredible walking trails are just a short drive away.
Home sleeps 6, but it can sleep up to 3 more if they are included on the booking. If 8 or 9 guests are included on the booking (including kids), an additional room in the basement (with 2 twin beds) will be prepared/made available. If you have 7 or fewer guests, but prefer the extra space—please reach out and we can make it available for an additional fee. The room doesn’t have a window (though there is one nearby in main basement area). Keep in mind that nearest half bath is on the main floor (up a set of stairs) and both full baths are another floor up. For your convenience, there is a playpen and infant carseat (in the closet of the third bedroom) and a booster seat with tray (in the pantry across from washer/dryer)—please be aware that we do not examine them regularly for defects, recalls, etc. Also, the outdoor hammock chair has a weight limit and can be dangerous for young children—please watch children carefully. Please also keep in mind that there is one step (2 risers) up to the front door without railing.
Getting Around:
The MARC station is about 5 minutes away with trains leaving regularly for DC and Baltimore. If you have a car, there is usually ample parking at the station--if not, it is a very quick/cheap Uber/Lift ride or even walking distance if you don't mind some exercise.
Located within minutes of highway, it takes about 35 minutes to get to D.C. and 20 minutes or less to get to Baltimore’s famous inner harbor, historic downtown Annapolis’ Naval Academy and historic Ellicott City--as central as you can get to all of these great cities without the hassle of staying in the city.

This was the perfect choice, 5 minutes from the main gate at Ft Meade. Plenty of space for our group of 5 for our son's graduation there. The home is beautiful, spacious & cozy, we truly felt at home. The weather was unseasonably gorgeous a couple of the days and we really enjoyed the screened in porch. Communicating with Sarah, the host, was effortless. Will definitely stay again for the next Ft Meade visit.
Got more than i expected. Very courteous and respectful. Great location. The only thing I would change is to put 32" tv in the primary bedroom for streaming services and background noise. LolThanks Sarah !! Would definitely stay again
Communication from day one was helpful before our arrival. Upon arrival, the place meet all our expectations. The place was not only beautiful but spotless. It was a perfect location for our needs. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay again.
Tastfully decorated, bright and inviting. We liked that the only TV was in the basement for those wishing to visit on the main level without having to compete with a TV. Good appliances
This house was really nicely decorated, clean and quiet. We had some issues with the thermostat, but apparently it was a setting that Sarah was able to adjust, and she resolved the issue in a generous manner. Her communication was great too.The primary bed was memory foam, but VERY firm. Just FYI. Pillows were comfortable. We booked this location because it was close to the Marc station to get into DC, but it ended up being faster for us to drive into the city than taking the Marc, so we didn't end up using it.
Truly an oasis! House was clean and comfortable. Host was very responsive to all questions/concerns that arose. Met all our needs and more! Loved the screen porch. Would gladly stay again!
We traveled through Marlyand and found that this place was perfect as a home base for our group. Very close to everything we wanted to see and a cozy place to stay!
After a previous booking cancelled, we traded up to the perfect end unit condo! Quiet, peaceful with comfortable beds. Perfect space for our family to stay in town for a weekend wedding.
Perfect spot for our family of 4. Amenities are as described, unit was clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Definitely would stay here again.
I asked our host about baking and she had a baking sheet ordered for our arrival. The only item that we could not locate was a hand mixer but other than that, we found everything we needed for our stay. We did have trouble checking in, the code did not work and the host guided us to a backup key that we were able to use once she provided the correct code. We would stay here again, there was plenty of room, it was decorated very nicely and had everything we needed. I would recommend having some non-down pillows for those with allergies.
I stayed here with my family over spring break and we all really enjoyed staying at this lovely home- it was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We had an easy drive each day into downtown Baltimore. Sarah was a very responsive, kind, caring and helpful host. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
