Comfortable 3 bedroom lockwood home in great condition with all the home comforts

100m to the beach & boat ramp, together with safe estuary swimming and water sports (i.e. swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, boating, water-skiing & fishing). Very central location, with a drive less than 2 hours from Auckland, Rotorua or Hamilton. Well located for exploring the Coromandel, Cathedral Cove, Hahei, Hot Water Beach and Whangamata. Hike the Coromandel Ranges or catch a ferry to Tairua. Pauanui has a myriad of safe walkways, as well as off-road cycling/walking and exploring. Cafes, supermarket, liquor store, bakery, petrol station + others, together with public tennis courts, as well as putt-putt and a skate park for the kids.

Recent upgrades: 2 luxury king beds in bedrooms 1 and 2. Third bedroom has 2 single beds (trundler bed)

We loved this house! Has everything you need for a comfortable stay plus is in such a great location for kids to roam in the park, play on the rope swings and ride bikes with other neighbourhood kids. Will definitely be booking this one again :)

This is our second visit to this Bach and we had a fantastic time.

Fantastic bach in a great location, close to everything in Pauanui. The bach is well maintained and has everything needed. Great views towards the estuary and lovely and quiet. Communication from the property owner was also friendly and timely - thanks. We'll definitely visit again.

Very comfortable house in a great location

We loved our stay at the property. The house has everything you need and was very clean and tidy. Peaceful neighborhood at least at this time of the year. Plenty of room for the kids to play in the park next to the house. Tuis visiting the trees of the property everyday was definitely a plus!! Highly recommended!

Beautiful House with a great view!

We had a wonderful time in Coromandel. The house was very cozy and had everything you need. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The highlight was of course the terrace overlooking the water. A perfect start to the day to have breakfast on the terrace. The location is also good. You can make day trips to various beaches. Our host Malcolm was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. I can highly recommend the accommodation.

Great spot and would be awesome in summer. Unfortunately for us both heating sources (AC and Heater) were faulty. Being a winter booking we specifically chose a place with a heat pump but upon arrival found it was faulty, and the backup heater failed also, therefore we were very uncomfortable so cut our stay short and went home. Not a great birthday for the Mrs.

Sorry to hear of your issues; the heat pump was replaced the day after this booking - the air con company let us down on this occasion. There were 2 other serviceable heaters in the house. As usual, we call our guests on the night of arrival and confirm all is well; the contact was not returned; if we had known, there are support people in Pauanui who could have assisted to ensure your stay was comfortable. As advertised. How-ever there was /is a building site just over the road so we were woken by hammering most mornings. No mention of this prior to arriving and it was not a new building site. Cant believe the owner didn't know. Also, the BBQ was so black and thick with grease we didn't use it.

The building site across the street is a home renovation (shortly to be completed) owned by a local builder and realtor who look after my Pauanui house. Reaching out to me earlier would have been useful as I could have passed on the noise comment. I most certainly was aware of the renovation but had no information that there were any untoward issues or non-compliant activity. Regarding the barbeque - thanks for letting me know - its always unfortunate when prior guests don't meet their obligations before departing. Thank you for staying and we look forward to welcoming you back!

What makes this property unique

While we like all of Pauanui, this house is exceptional as it is located on the estuary side frontage - it escapes the summertime easterly wind on the oceanfront, has a magnificent view to the water and an expanse of grassy area in front which is protected reserve. It is very close to the Pleasant Point boat ramp, but for larger vessels the Royal Billy Point boat ramp is nearby
