Check-in war super. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber es hat Charme. Der Ausblick ist sensationell. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen

Zeer goede ligging, elke dag ontbijt op het terras met zicht op de zee en opkomende zon.Plaats genoeg, 2 volwaardige badkamers en wcs en dan nog extra lavabos.Zeer vriendelijke mensen die zorgden voor een leuke attentie bij aankomst.Ook de pooltafel was plezant voor in de avond. Kortom, een plek om nog eens naar terug te komen

Un agréable séjour dans le Cotentin

Emplacement idéal en front de mer pour profiter d'une vue magnifique et de belles ballades sur la plage. Logement spacieux agréable et bien équipé. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la propriétaire. Merci.

Groot vakantiehuis op unieke locatie

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad.Het huis zit direct aan utah beach met een fantastisch uitzicht over het strand en de zee. En vlakbij alle bezienswaardigheden van WW2 en met name D-Day.Het huis is echt groot en van alle voorzieningen voorzien.Het was redelijk schoon, want op sommige plekken mocht het wat schoner.Verder is heeft het huis wel onderhoud nodig. Dit merk je op verschillende plekken in en rond het huis. De grote badkamer er de keuken zijn recent wel zo goed mogelijk verbouwd. De eigenaresse is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Al met al een heerlijke vakantie gehad! En wanneer het hui wat meer vernieuwd is komen wij zeker nog een keer.

Family Holiday next to the sea, was a piece of Heaven

We had a fabulous time at this property. The house is on the beach is the perfect location. It was very homely and relaxing and we throughly enjoyed our stay. It was like a slice of heaven. I would highly recommend it, the owners were extremely helpful. I woulddefinitely love to come back again.

Stay by the sea

Large property right on seafront, quiet area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in St Marcouf. Nice place to relax with friends. Poole table was an added source of entertainment. Lovely views of the sea whilst eating breakfast and dinner. Great place to see a wonderful sunset if you are lucky

Tolle Lage

Schönes Ferienhaus in toller Lage Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und viele Spaziergänge am Strand gemacht. Auf Nachfrage haben wir zusätzliche Handtücher erhalten, denn da waren wir nicht so gut ausgestattet, wie beim ersten Mal. Wer eine ruhige, hundefreundliche Lage im Contentin sucht und beteit ist, für Infrastruktur wie Bäcker etc. ein paar km zu fahren, der ist hier richtig.

Spectacular Normandy beach house

Don’t choose this house … or you might end up sipping your morning tea while watching the waves break in the English Channel, locals launching boats with tractors and another riding their horse down the beach. You’ll have a kitchen equipped well enough to cook any Julia Child’s recipe. 4 comfortable bedrooms, hot showers with strong water pressure and a lovely hostess. A quiet seaside location close to D-day museums and small villages, Hotel de Plage restaurant was wonderful. We even took a day trip into Paris by train from Valognes. We hope to return (from across the Atlantic) in a few years!

We genoten van ons verblijf in St Marcouf. We hadden wat pech met het weer. Vooral de kinderen vonden het spijtig dat ze niet meer op het mooie strand konden spelen. We bezochten de streek, vooral locaties ivm d-day. We hadden wat problemen om de gastvrouw te bereiken, verkeerd telefoonnummer. Het elektriciteitsprobleem was gauw opgelost. Waarvoor dank.

Ein tolles Wohngefühl....direkt am Wasser.

Unser Aufenthalt war wunderbar.Die Lage des Hauses ist wie beschrieben....fantastisch. Den Abzug von einem Stern begründe ich mit der Sauberkeit vom Geschirr.Es fühlte sich teilweise klebrig an.Die Pfannen und Töpfe waren stellenweise braun vom eingebrannten Öl. Gewürze waren nicht vorhanden. Ich würde beim nächsten mieten auf jeden Fall Geschrirrtücher,Spüllappen und Handtücher mitnehmen,da diese nur sparsam angeboten werden. Wir konnten uns dennoch mit den Begebenheiten gut arrangieren. Für unsere Hunde wurde der kleine Garten extra vom Vermieter ausbruchsicher gemacht.Dafür allerherzlichen Dank. Ein Willkommensgeschenk in Form von Cidre und Plätzchen hat uns sehr gefreut. Leider hatten wir bei der Ankunft starke Verspätung,was jedoch organisatorisch sehr schnell zu unserer Zufriedenheit geregelt wurde. Insgesamt hatten wir in dem Haus einen zufriedenstellenden Aufenthalt.

absolut empfehlenswert

Vorab möchte ich löblich erwähnen, dass die Gastgeberin praktisch rund um die Uhr für uns via whatsapp (deutsch) erreichbar war und in allen Belangen sofort geantwortet hat, um uns einen unbescherten Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Dafür 5 Punkte. Zwei Wochen konnten wir in diesem Ferienhaus einen wahrlich entspannten Urlaub genießen. Die Lage des Hauses ist einzigartig, wirklich direkt am Meer. Ein schmaler Schotterweg führt an der recht großen Terrasse vorbei, dann zwei Meter über eine niedrige Stufe durch das schmale Dünengras und schon steht man am Strand. Muscheln ohne Ende quasi vor der Haustür. Herrlich. Und trotz der Hauptferienzeit hatten wir den Strand und das Meer fast für uns alleine. Unglaublich die Ruhe und kaum vorstellbar, dass nur so wenige Menschen diesen Strand besuchen. Morgens bei Hochwasser konnten wir einen einsamen Seehund beobachten. Das Haus selber ist genauso wie auf den Fotos. Zwei Duschen und sep. WC befinden sich mit dem Billardraum unten. Die Schlafz., Küche, Wohnz, WC im oberen mit Terrasse. Küchenausstattung, Putzmittel, Haushaltsgeräte: perfekt. Gute Matrazen und Wäsche. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig, wir haben es genossen.Die Normandie ist ein fantastischer Landstrich mit der Küste,Schlössern, Städten, und gastfreundlichen Menschen. Und es gibt noch so viel mehr zu entdecken, wir kommen sichter wieder!

Séjour parfait, description de l'annonce conforme. Entre la maison et la mer il n'y a qu'un chemin rural. Les fenêtres ouvertes et on entend la mer. En rez-de cours douche spacieuse et buanderie, autre douche disponible au rez-de cours, toilettes, billard et jeux de société. Parfait quant on revient de la plage. A l'étage les chambres et un cabinet de toilette. WC à part. Grandes quantité de vaisselle à disposition ainsi que produit vaisselle, pastilles lave vaisselle et papier WC en quantité. Linge de toilette, draps, taie d'oreiller et torchons mis à disposition. Pour démarrer la semaine, vinaigre, huile, sel, gros sel, bouquet garni, sopalin, papier alu et transparent présents. Très bonne situation pour visiter alentour.En
