As you walk down the steps to the lower floor, you will find the log bunk beds at the bottom of the stairs. You then walk into the bedroom with a queen size log bed with a new double pillow top mattress. All three beds are dressed with the latest of quilts from "Lil Dollys" on the Parkway. You will find the full bath and laundry closet adjacent to the bedroom. There is another deck out of the bedroom to enjoy your morning coffee while you listen to the birds chirping in the trees.

Just a short drive south of the parkway, you will find the beautiful, charming town of Gatlinburg. Get a breathtaking view while riding the tram on Ober Gatlinburg or taking the elevator to the top of the 407 feet tall Space Needle. The views are fantastic! Try some of the many wonderful restaurants on the strip like Blake Shelton's "Ole Red", The Alamo Steak House or get insulted with bad food and service at Dick's Last Resort. Gatlinburg features a couple of distilleries that has tastings for the adult palate while the kids can enjoy a few rounds at Hillbilly Golf. Don't forget The Smoky Mountains National Park where you can hike, raft and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The Great Smoky Mountain Arts & Crafts Community is an 8 mile loop on Glades road that features over 100 independent arts & crafts shops for that unique gift.
The tranquility of Bear-Dacious location and its close proximity to the hundreds of attractions, restaurants and the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains will have you coming back year after year.

Frequently asked questions
About the host
Hosted by AJ & Sherry Gros
We are Sherry & AJ. Although we live in south Louisiana, The Smoky Mountains have always been in our hearts. We enjoy watching our adult children succeed in life and just welcomed our first grand child a little over a year ago. When we aren't traveling to the cabin, we are usually camping or motorcycling around this beautiful country of ours. Sometimes you need to "enjoy the little things".
Why they chose this property
We aren't going to lie; sometimes after you are enjoying the shows and restaurants, you just need to get back to the cabin and take a nap. This cabin is so close to the Parkway, you could fill your belly at Paula Deen's Family Kitchen then be napping on the deck or sofa in less than 10 minutes. The location of the log cabin along with being in a unique resort that hosts a beautiful pool, was more than we ever bargained for.
