The interior spaces of Silver Shells St. Maarten 1201 have been tastefully decorated with a trendy seaside theme. An open floor plan gives the whole family or group space to relax together. The living area is beach-facing, features floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, and offers plenty of seating for everyone to gather around the flat-screen TV. The spacious beach-facing balcony is perfectly furnished to allow for entertaining or dining while taking in spectacular views of the white sand beach and emerald waters. The dining area has seating for six with three additional seats at the breakfast bar. The fully equipped kitchen includes full-size appliances, granite countertops, and all the cookware and dishware you could need for creating memorable meals.

The master bedroom has incredible beach views and private access to the beach-facing balcony. Complete with a king bed, flat-screen TV, and private ensuite bathroom, the master bedroom was designed with relaxation in mind. The master bathroom features a jetted tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity. Both guest bedrooms face the north side of the resort and offer unbeatable views of the resort grounds. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed, a flat-screen TV, and private access to the north balcony. The second guest bedroom has two full beds, a flat-screen TV, and private access to the north balcony. The second guest bedroom has a private bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Just steps from both the first guest bedroom and the living area is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Awesome place. Clean comfy. Great single or multifamily unit. On site pools are immaculate. Beach/ocean view from balcony is breathtaking. Sugar sand and clear ocean on the emerald coast. Highly recommend for your next vacation stay.

Great Condo

Our stay was excellent. Unit is nice and clean. Only issue we had was not getting the master ceiling fan to work but there was a box fan so we used it, and the ice maker made ice but wouldn’t dispense it. Other than that great and we’d definitely stay there again!

Perfect place

This unit was very roomy, clean and had comfortable beds with plenty of pillows and blankets. The kitchen had what we needed to cook but know ahead you only get starter toilet paper and paper towels. We had views of the ocean and the pool. Loved the convenience of the bar on the beach which was also close to pool!! Location is great many restaurants and shops very close. My only complaint is that if your going to close hot tub and pool at 10 then do just that, our adult children was told to get out of hot tub after 10 and they were quietly sitting in it talking but the next night there were several people in hot tub and pool that were loud, I could clearly hear them on 12th floor but yet they were never asked to leave and it was headed toweard midnight.

Beautiful property but will never work with Compass Rentals again

Firstly, the accommodations, the condo and the Silver Shells property are gorgeous and pristine. The condo was perfectly laid out so that everyone felt they had space. And the view was incredible, we saw dolphins every day. What wasn't incredible was the way Compass handled our check-in process. Because of a flight issue, we missed our initial flight to Florida and weren't able to come until the next day. I let compass know that my father would still be arriving that night and to expect him. They asked for his name and that was it. When my dad got there, he had no idea where to go, there was no one in the Compass Office, and no one answered the phone for over 30 minutes. Meanwhile, my dad is walking back in forth in a rain storm with 30mph winds just to find someone to help him. Finally the guard who operates the gate helped my dad. When I asked Compass if there was a way we could stay in our condo an extra day since we missed a day, they curtly replied "no". When asked if there was another Compass property within Silver Shells we could move to, I was again met with a terse, "There's a three night minimum stay." From beginning to end, they were NOT there to help us. Even getting the wi-fi passcode took a 20 phone call. Loved Destin, loved the condo and the location, but would purposely go out go my way to never work with Compass again.

Incredible location & communication!

I booked this property for my family with young kids, wife, and parents. Communication all throughout the process was incredible, and the property was phenomenal. Beautiful view of the beach & overlooking the pool from the 12th floor. The semi-private elevator made it an incredible experience as well. Right in the heart of Destin near everything we wanted to do. We will most-likely book this spot again. Highly recommend!

Beautifully managed and landscaped property!

This is our third time visiting this property in a year. We love the large pool and well-appointed condos. 1201 St. Maarten was very comfortable with a large flat screen in every room. I particularly love the corner unit. The furniture in the common areas provided plenty of seating for all. Having a complimentary beach/umbrella set-up was great. There are no extra chairs or beach toys in the unit so bring your own and set up on the end of the property . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again!

This place was much better than expected. The resort was nice but the semi private elevator made the place. I would have given it 5 stars if the cleaning service would have cleaned a little deeper before our arrival. The furnishing were OK, but could use a little updating, but nothing to keep me from staying again. Pool was great. Beach access was great. Parking and room access was great.

The condo was beautiful .. the resort and property was beautiful. Very nice and very comfortable. Only problem we had was the hot water quit working one morning and Compass Resorts sent someone right over to resolve the problem. Other than the that one small glitch .. everything else was was perfect. . Compass Resorts is so helpful and has very nice employees. We will definitely stay here again.
