Beautiful place to stay. The birds in the morning, King Parrots along with many other Parrots which came for breakfast and other birds.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
David the host was wonderful full of information.
There were wonderful books in the cabin with lots of wonderful detail regarding the forest and the animals and birds.
Highly recommend 💜
Lovely helpful hosts who made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable .great accommodation with lots of opportunities to go for walks and explore the farm. Recommended for any family or couples of all ages. Great for pets too as we had our Great Dane Jett with us😊
Great location with an abundance of birdlife and great walking trails. the cabins are secluded in the rainforest and this allows you to enjoy the surroundings without being disturbed.
Such a peacefulness and relaxing spot. The bird life was incredible. The owner was a wealth of knowledge and freely shared his time and expertise. Thank you for creating such a haven where are our legged fur baby was just as welcome
Excellent communication and wonderful cabin- more spacious, modern and well-equipped than you’d think- given the rustic setting :) Beautiful area and perfect for walking and relaxing. Very helpful and friendly hosts.
Stunning getaway for lovers of privacy, walking, rainforest, birdlife and stars!
We were exceptionally pleased with this property. The drive in is spectacular as you wind between ghost gum forests and rainforest. Super easy going owners and Dodge accommodated our little Cairn Terriers and all things self contained were there including a great bed and linens, shower and woodfire heater. They provide much information on the local flora and fauna, and have worked hard to provide and maintain numerous marked walks - leading to secret waterfalls or high ridge lines with spectacular views. All the basics for 'self-contained' were provided, full size fridge a bonus, games and the fabulous bird feeders off the deck were highly entertaining. With 3 x A4 pages of the 'local birds to spy' we managed about 6!We most especially loved having our two Cairn Terriers Milo and Smudgee. I'm moderately disabled and found the cabin great (two small steps) and walks excellent for as much as Milo (14) and I could manage. We've already convinced two couples (twitchers) who love their walking and all things birds to book a break and we'll most certainly be back soon. Hopefully with a group of friends as there is plenty of accommodation all with private aspects. What was wrong, surely something ...OK they need an oven mit!!! Truly that's it.

We had a lovely time staying at Bellthorpe. Beautiful countryside and lovely clean cottage to stay at. The fire kept us warm on the cold nights. And our sons favorite thing was feeding the birds and watching all the different kinds. Thanks for a great long weekend!
