About Jean Tulloch
I'm a gardener, bird watcher and nature lover, also into health and cooking. My husband Pete, an architect, designed this property as a home and office for our family, along with a granny flat for my mother, who lived with us for many years. She was a gardener too! Pete is into surfing, painting and drawing. We both love bushwalking, travel and reading. Now that our children have left home we enjoy sharing our location with guests. Their appreciation reminds us to keep noticing what a lovely environment we live in.
Jean Tulloch purchased this Apartment in 1996
Why Jean Tulloch chose Sunshine Beach
We love living 5 minutes walk away from the Noosa National Park, where we do a brisk exercise circuit most days. This property is elevated enough to catch summer sea breezes so it's much cooler than other parts of the town. And adjoining a local park enlarges our garden backdrop without adding to our workload! Pete likes having lots of different beaches around Noosa - that way, there's usually somewhere to catch a wave, no matter which direction the wind blows from. We also enjoy the stimulation of living in Noosa, which hosts a wide range of sporting, community and cultural events for its size.
What makes this Apartment unique
The apartment was designed as a home, rather than a vacation property, so it's spacious and well equipped. Set a couple of streets back from the beachfront allows us and our guests to retreat from the holiday crowds into more serene, residential surroundings, while retaining an easily walkable distance to the ocean and the coffee shops, cafes and restaurants of Sunshine Beach village.

Perfect Location & Hosts
This unit is perfectly situated, as others have mentioned, for access to Sunshine Beach, cafes/ restaurants, and the amazing Noosa National Park. The deck offers the most marvelous treed sanctuary where multitudes of birds can be seen and heard. Jean answered all questions promptly and provided detailed, timely information, which made booking, finding and living in the unit trouble-free. Pete was also very helpful upon a late, dark check-in when we were tired, lost, and confused. ;-) We highly recommend this lovely unit & its hosts.
Welcoming, restful haven
Jean is a wonderful and communicative host whose property is beautifully presented, clean, comfortable and in a fantastic peaceful location. Easy walk to great eating spots, the ocean, and Noosa National Park, but safely tucked away off the beaten track. It was such a treat to be so close to everything we could have wanted in a holiday without needing to drive anywhere.
Tip: book a table at Sum Yung Guys in advance to make sure you get a table at this fantastic restaurant.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Enjoyed our stay
Hosts are very welcoming
Everything you need and very clean
So much to do in the area and even within walking distance
Excellent holiday accommodation! The apartment is exactly as described and Jean is a great host!
Jean welcomed us very warmly and the apartment was spotless.
The location is great, just a few minutes walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants and shops. The Noosa National Park is even closer than the beach, which offers several nice walks. The apartment has everything that’s needed for a relaxed holiday and Jean gave us a great introduction to Noosa and the surroundings with many useful hints on what to do during our stay.
The fresh eggplant that Jean offered us from her garden were delicious and went well with the BBQ we had one evening.
Noosa National Park
