The Straddie Hotel is a 5 minute stroll and 2 minutes puts you at the ever popular "Bobs Shop" ideal for those forgotten essentials.

Ideal for couples or families and of course the all important 4 legged family member, the cottage consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and large deck to enjoy Straddie BBQs with the northerley view and breezes.

Great Location

Very good spot, Good secure yard if you bring your pups. Outdoor showers, Aircon and wi fi all great to have. Lovely breeze on the deck, great place to dry off after a swim at the beach.

Another wonderful stay. Great position, walking distance to beaches & shops. Comfortable and well equiped with everything you would need. Our puppies also love the well enclosed yard & the off leach beach nearby.

Point Lookout, Cylinder Beach hidden gem retreat

This is a professionally managed property with everything you could ask for in a beautiful, hidden away retreat only a small stroll to the wonderful Cylinder Beach. Super close by to a grocery store for supplies, very safe neighbourhood and meticulously cared for property. Sea breezes everyday, nature walks on your door step with the abundance of fishing available on Straddie. Our family had a very relaxing holiday thanks to this amazing property.

Clean, well appointed and central location. Grocery store is practically a 2min walk and Cylinder Beach was an easy walk for the family.

Great Stay

This is our second time staying at this property, and we love it. It's a fairly quick walk to the beach and not far from the pub. Everything you need is close by. Easy check-in/out, and the owner is lovely to deal with. They also allow dogs, which is a must for us! Definitely will stay again.

Wonderful stay

Another great time spent at this cottage. Great position, well equiped cottage with a leafy deck. We love it and so does our puppy. Hopefully will be back soon!

Fabulous location and beautiful house

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect spot close to the shops and a short walk to the beach. The house was very well equipped with lots of little extras. It was lovely sitting out on the private deck having our BBQ’s. Annette was great with her communication and our family and Westie had a great time. Highly recommend and we would love to visit again!

Just amazing place to relax and unwind. Plenty of room and space. Full kitchen facilities and real close to a grocery shop if needed. Only short walk to wonderful beaches to stroll on. Will seek to stay again in the future for sure.

Amazing place to stay! Shops just around the corner, quit street and we even had a little sugar glider come down the power line every night around 7:30. everything we needed right there at our finger tips. We will definitely be staying again thank you

Lovely cottage.

What a perfect place to relax and enjoy Straddie. We loved staying here. Within walking distance to beaches, lookout and shops. Made even better by the fact that it really is dog friendly ie dog allowed inside. Lots of books, DVD's and games provided and a fully stocked kitchen. An on-leash beach was within 5 minutes walk and an off-leash within 10 minutes so our dog was in heaven :-) Annette we loved your home from home. We've recommended it to our friends and will be back soon.

Beautiful introduction to Straddie

Annette's house is perfect for a getaway at Straddie. It was close to a corner shop, the dog off lead beach and the Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel bar and bistro down the road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The dogs were very comfortable, there was plenty of room and the sea breezes from the deck were delightful. The house was equipped with everything you would need to be comfortable. Even the neighbours were lovely.

Didn't want to leave!

We recently stayed 2 weeks at this property with our 1yr old puppy. This beach house is in a great location with several beaches close walking distance including a dog friendly beach. Easy walk to the beautiful gorge walk at the Point too. There is Bob's shop close by that has almost everything you could possibly need. We loved the great kitchen with ample utensils for self catering as well including an outdoor BBQ. Lots of time was spent on the ample deck with cool breezes and surrounded by greenery. To top it all off the fence is really secure so we didn't have to worry about our precious one escaping! Would love to come back again one day soon.
