The boat will remain on the property private dock only if rented by guests. Otherwise, Big Papa’s reserves the right to rent the boat during your stay, and it will not be available unless secured at 30 days before your stay. Family fun

We had a great time in this rental. The house was clean and quaint. My favorite place while we were there was the screened porch. There were plenty water toys included for enjoyment.

Great stay, great owner.

This is a great property right on the lake. The owner, Niki, was so helpful when we had a little hiccup with our arrival and kept in touch. While the weather wasn't conducive for using the kayaks, it was so relaxing which was just what we needed. I hope we will get to rent again the next time we are in the area.

Summer retreat

The house is very well maintained and supplied.The porch is great for relaxing and watching activity on the lake. Plenty of toys for adults and kids. Went fishing on the lake several times and landed a 30 inch northern. Would definitely return.

Beautiful lake home

This was a relaxing lakeside home with plenty of space for large families. There were a lot of pontoons, jetskis, and boats on the water on the weekend but it didn't affect our activities. We really enjoyed all the outdoor games that were in the garage and the screened in porch. We also rented the pontoon boat and Big Paoas was great. .

Amazing lake house!

We had an amazing Fourth of July week at the lake house! Niki was extremely helpful and responsive leading up to our trip. We spent most of our time outside living lake life. The pontoon rental was easy, the house had lots of outdoor games and toys, and the lake was beautiful. Overall the house was comfortable for the entire family and had everything we needed, would definitely come back!

Family Vacation

The property was very clean, and with the exception of a VRBO error saying it had a hot tub, the property was as expected. The host was very responsive to our questions, and the accommodations were perfect for our family. We loved the dock for fishing, the kayaks were great and the games were a hit. Overall our trip was a 9 out of 10. Would have been a 10 had it not rained all week! 😁

Sweet lake house near Sand Valley

Our family stayed here for 4 nights, mostly golfing at Sand Valley and Lawsonia. House was clean and much better stocked than I expected. Since we were coming from afar, Niki helped us out with a few items not usually included per her standard agreement. We did not use any of the kayaks or fishing gear but they were definitely available and would have been easy to use. There were quite a few weeds in the lake but we still managed to catch a few bass from the dock.

Family vacation

What a great place to spend time with family. The house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 1 toddler. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well-stocked with anything you might need, and there was plenty of outdoor seating and activities to do. Our favorite spot was the screened-in porch for coffee in the morning and conversation at night. The only negative was we weren't able to swim because of weeds and algae which was not the fault of the owners. I think it was the time of the year because others said they swam but it was earlier during the summer. Niki was great to work with. She was always very responsive to all of my questions. We definitely would stay here again!

A perfect getaway

My husband and I with our three kids (5/7/9) and my parents had a truly great week as this well appointed property. The owners thought of everything you could ever want and more. So many fun yard games for all to enjoy plus rafts and kayaks and noodles for swimming and all sorts of sand toys. Two refrigerators were super useful ! One thing I would advise future travelers is to think about bringing a folding table of some sort or even plastic bins. Given the great assortment of dishes, serving ware, kitchen appliances, and glassware, there wasn’t a ton of pantry space for food storage. Also note that you can get just about anything you could want at the local store Pritzl’s. It is super convenient to get to. The owners were over-the-top useful in helping us find a bot to rent for the week. We are so grateful to them. Thank you thank you !

Wonderful Stay

Awesome lake house! No surprises. Everything was as listed. Lake and yard toys galore! The lily pad was a hit with the older kids, and the sand area was a great spot for our two year old. The adults loved the enclosed upper deck. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is even an extra fridge downstairs. We could use our ATV on the trails right from the cabin. The only items I would note is there are no bathroom towels, so you will want to bring bath, hand, and washcloths with you and maybe a few extra blankets. Each bed has sheets and a lighter comforter but the basement bedrooms stay pretty cool. The basement stairs are open on one side so it’s a little hard for younger kids but there is a door at the top to block them off. I definitely would return!

Awesome summer stay. The property was just as shown in the listing. Owners were awesome to work with. The streaming TV and no local stations was hard to get used to but we made it work. The kitchen area was great for dinners and family gaming. We loved the screened in porch to get away from bugs. Lake was great to cruise on. Frontage was not as expected a little weedy but we made do. Sat on the pier or floated in the water as we had great weather. They utility room had any kind of toy you wanted to play with. Great amenities! Rome is cute town, farmers market was good! We will be back.

We had a great time at the lake house & Niki was a very helpful & responsive host. It is by far the best equipped rental we’ve ever had. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pots & pans, glassware, dishes & utensils and there were plenty of outdoor games & kayaks. The layout was perfect for our family & the screen porch & yard are great! We also rented SUP’s from Dave at Central Lakes Sales Watersports Rentals (includes delivery & pickup). During the week the lake is pretty quiet, perfect for paddle boarding. It does get busy on the weekends, but the no wake until 10AM is nice. We tried several restaurants in the area & visited Stevens Point & LaCrosse on rainy days. Overall, it was an awesome getaway week for us!

Family Get Away

A beautiful home on a beautiful lake. There was plenty of room for a 6 of us. Our favorite spot to gather was the screen in porch. Our grandson loved crawling around while we enjoyed the view of the lake. We already booked for next summer.

Rest and relaxation

Very nice home. Clean and well stocked. Cozy screen porch overlooking lake with comfy furniture. Lots of games and a garage full of things to do outside and on the water. Niki was extremely patient and helpful with the rental agreement process and other communication throughout our stay. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely home with a great screened in front porch looking out at the lake. Big sand area for the 3 and 5 year old to play. Lots of sand toys, kayaks and other water toys. Many activities close to the house. Fishing was great.

Girls getaway

We enjoyed staying here for our annual girls trip. The pictures represented the property accurately. Tons of cookware if you plan to make meals. Beds were comfortable. Updated bathrooms were appreciated. Remember to bring your own bath, lake and kitchen towels and washcloths. Loved having all the lawn and lake toys. Even though the lake had a lot of algae which prevented us from swimming, we used the kayaks every day. We decided to rent a pontoon for a day on Castle Rock Lake which is a bigger lake and has numerous restaurants, bars and beaches to stop at. It’s super easy to rent pontoons through Big Poppas. Overall we had a great week…Vince & Niki were great hosts and were extremely responsive!

Lake Camelot Family Summer Vacation

The property was exceptional. Extremely clean and well maintained. The pictures online are accurate. You cannot beat the location of this property, flat yard space, unlimited “toys” and easy boat rental. The area near Rome is also great, everything within 10-15 minutes of property.
