Chalet Harmony - large exclusive waterfront cottage with SPA and pool table

Welcome to our brand new, exclusive, harmonious, 4000 sq. ft, 7 bedrooms lake front chalet perfect for families and friends get together! It is located in a tranquil private lake. Elegantly designed and tastefully furnished, we offer 4 bathrooms, beautiful front deck with BBQ, hot tub, pool table, large dining room table, and lots of couches for you and your guests. Enjoy the lake views from this amazing location! We are a legitimate short-term rental accommodations.
The space
* We have a smoke and pet free chalet. Smoking cigarettes, cannabis, hookah, vapes or even using incentive sticks ( anything which produces strong smell) is prohibited in the house for hygienic reasons. In case the smoke damage is reported by the property manager after your group departure, there could be an additional charge of $500 for extra cleaning.

For each group intended to make a reservation please provide details of your group including age of travelers, number of couples, singles and kids as well as the exact number of guests.
Please note that our cottage is located in a very quiet and peaceful place.
The municipality has very strict excessive noise rules and associated charges.
Excessive outside noise absolutely prohibited between 10 PM to 7 AM.
Outside music is prohibited at any time.
A trampoline, 2 canoes ,as well as 4 adult life jackets are provided for free use from May 15 till Oct 15th.

Please note that water source in the house is the lake. We recommend to bring bottled water with you and boil water before drinking.

Nice stay with a big group

Sufficient rooms and beds, clean, good selections of kitchen supplies. It would be nice to have backup bedding for futons, the property manager provided upon request in short timeline.

Amazing place for large group

What a great place to stay with a large group... from space to eat together, play games and also enough space to have smaller groups do different activities. Rooms and bathroom ratio is excellent as well. We were 14 but could have easily been more as long as couples don't mind sharing their rooms. Close enough to services but far enough that you want to stay in. Totally recommend this place.

Great for a big group!

It was our first trip to Canada for skiing and this place was perfect. So much snow! Close enough to the mountain for easy travel each day, but far enough away to enjoy quiet solitude in the hot tub, playing pool, and having our dinner. We also took advantage of a great free neighborhood skating rink just down the road.

Our family getaway

The house is perfect for the number of guests i.e. #bathrooms & #bedrooms. The children loved the small beach, trampoline & campfire. The flooring is not soundproof so we heard the footsteps of the little obes early in the morning. Kitchen is fully equiped. Lovely area.

Beautiful house in a beautiful spot

Excellent house, looks exactly as advertised, roomy and beautiful. Great views out of the windows in the morning. Above all, the housekeeper, Nina, was very helpful and kind, to help us with any questions promptly. At our request, she showed up within 20 minutes and went above and beyond in assisting us with extra sheets and other supplies we asked for. Nina, thank you very much!

Great stay for large family

This chalet worked really well for us for 4 nights with our kids and grandkids. Most adults skied during the day and there was lots of space inside and out to entertain the 7 grandkids. Listing was very accurate and we managed the no drinking water with a few blue camping jugs and some bottled water. Would have been helpful to have some plastic plates/cups for kids. A paver pathway to the hot tub would improve access compared to the gravel. Lots of parking space for 4 vehicles. Definitely will consider coming again.

Friends long weekend July 2024

We had a fantastic stay at Chalet Harmony in July 2024. We were 6 adults with 8 kids ages 8-15. The cottage is very well designed with nice open area to hang out as a group. The ceilings are very high and even with temperatures of 30 degrees outside, we were not feeling too hot inside. The 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were great. We also had enough hot water for everyone to shower. The land is huge, which was great for soccer games. The hot tub is nicely located (private). The lake is not very big, but was great as we had it pretty much to ourselves (only 2 other cottages there). The view is great and we even got to see a deer one morning. We spent a lot of time on the lake, it was a lot of fun! There are enough kitchen supplies and all electronics/ appliances worked well. Responses to emails were quick and Nina was quick to provide support when the fire alarm required batteries to be changed. My only negative point was that the posting said well water/ drinkable and upon receiving check-in email, we found out it was actually lake water/ non-drinkable. They have advised to would correct the listing (given this is often an important criteria for large groups like us). I would suggest to the property managers/owner to add a water dispenser machine in the dining room to make up for the lack of drinkable water on-site. That would mitigate the inconvenience. Overall, a great stay! We would recommend it to others! Thank you

I will start with the positive. The actual house was absolutely amazing. The 4 full bathrooms all with tiled showers was extremely nice to have. The kitchen was very well stocked with enough pots/pans, plates and silverware for our large group and the 2 fridges was also very helpful. There was plenty of seating in both the living room and the kitchen for our group of 13. The back deck was also a nice amenity to have. The owners and the housekeepers were extremely responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, the bad. The back yard is very large and was a key reason for booking this home over other options but unfortunately it is completely unusable. There are around 30 candian geese that have taken up residency and they have literally pooped on every square foot of the back yard making it impossible to walk let alone have the kids play back there without stepping in it. The pond is at most 10' deep, it is littered with vegetation and geese poop leaving the bottom very mushy and unpleasant to walk in. The water in the house is pulled from the pond which means we went through about 20 gallons of bottled water to cook and drink throughout the week which was an unexpected cost. Lastly the speed limit in front of the home is like 50km/h on a very narrow dirt road and folks who live in the area fly by the house making walking or biking with small children very dangerous. Overall we probably would not return, probably ok for adults in the winter time but not a family unfortunately.

We’re sorry that some aspects of the natural setting did not meet your expectations. The property is located on a private lake surrounded by nature, and wildlife—including Canadian geese—is unfortunately part of that environment. No lakefront property is completely protected from geese, particularly during the summer season. Our property manager does clean the grounds before every group arrives, but it is impossible to keep the grass completely free of droppings throughout a stay. The lake is also a natural body of water, so vegetation and a soft lake bottom are to be expected rather than conditions of a swimming pool. Regarding the water, we do clearly indicate in our property information that the lake water is not potable. Guests are therefore expected to bring or purchase drinking water for their stay. We understand that a large group can go through a significant amount of bottled water, but this is not an unexpected condition of the property. We appreciate your positive comments and your feedback. We’re always happy to improve where possible, while also recognizing that a waterfront property in a natural setting may not be the right fit for every family.

Nice location for retreat

Beautiful fall location for a work retreat. House was clean and spacious. Large backyard. Enjoyed the spa and trampoline. Quiet neighbourhood. Housekeeper was quite responsive. Only small issue was description for property said water was from a well and drinkable but we learned a few days before the trip it was not and needed to bring our own water. Very pleased overall, however.

It is a very very wonderful place. We went with the family and had a more than wonderful time despite the rain, but the days were beautiful. Very very clean and quiet place. The most beautiful thing about the place is that it is independent away from the noise and a comfortable place. We wished to stay more, but the place is not available, it is not the last time we will return To him again I would advise anyone who wants to spend a pleasant holiday to go to this place and also I would like to thank the responsible for this place for her kindness and comfortable way of dealing, and also there is a safety device to maintain the safety of residents

Great spot

This was an great rental property. It is a beautiful house with great amenities, nice large yard with access to a small lake. We had fun grilling on the deck, playing games in the yard and canoeing in the lake. We’d definitely consider renting this property again. We did have a problem with the check in process as we’re we not provided the access code prior to arrival or updated details about their lack of towels/beach towels. Thankfully they were able to quickly solve these issues making this a wonderfully family reunion for everyone. Thanks so much!

Easter Weekend with family

My only complaint was the ladybug infestation in the main floor living room. There are a bunch of very dead ladybugs that have been there for a long time. Someone should really clean that up. Besides that, we were very satisfied with the chalet.
