Our 3 bed, 2 bath beach cottage sits only steps away from the powdery sand beach and sparkling turquoise waters that will captivate you. You will have a feeling of serenity and privacy as you savor the panoramic ocean views from the open living/dining/kitchen area. Enjoy al fresco dining on the covered patio where there is seating and a bbq.

While you are beautifully nestled away on the beachfront, you are but a mile from the bustling heart of this robust fishing town and its amenities: grocery stores, restaurants, medical clinic, bank, post office, etc. You may choose to rent a golf cart or bike around this picturesque town to enjoy the cozy ambiance of this special island and the hospitality of its people.

Such a comfortable place!

We love Spanish Wells - and this property was one of the best we have stayed at! Taking the kayak right out the back door to paddle in the beautiful water, or hiking on the beach around to the swing or to the sandbar, relaxing under the trees in the wicker furniture... everything was easy and comfortable and Lydia was a great help whenever we had questions!

Wonderful

We have stayed at Seeker’s twice and have loved it. The location is wonderful - perfect beach with beautiful sunsets every evening. Lydia is super helpful and check in/out was a breeze! We will be back!

Perfect location, sunrise & sunset views from beach

We couldn't have been happier with the house. Just as listed (or better). The location makes for having summer sunrises AND sunsets from our beach. I never missed one the whole week we stayed. On top of having a near secluded beach direcly behind the house, the house was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. So cooking at the house was less of hassle. The kids never had any problems finding something to keep them busy without wanting to turn on a TV. Everyone thought this was a perfect vacation, and thats unheard of with the wide range of kids we have. Thank you Susan and Lydia.

Great Stay on Spanish Wells!

We had a fantastic week staying at Seekers Delight. We were 2 couples and had everything we needed. The house was VERY clean and well supplied. We had plenty of towels, chairs, loungers and kitchen tools. We enjoyed both the paddle board and the kayaks. Susan was a great communicator and got us all the info we needed before we arrived. Once we arrived Lydia met us at the docks and continued to stay in touch for our entire stay. Any questions we had were answered within minutes. We did a full day charter with Underwood Charters and had a blast. Would definitely recommend them. Our favorite restaurant/bar spots were Budda's Snack Shack and The Sandbar. Karaoke on Friday at Budda's is a great time. Thanks to Susan and Lydia for a great week!

Sweet home away from home on the beach

Lydia and Franklin made sure we wanted for nothing during our stay at Seeker’s Delight. We found ourselves getting to know some of the locals and everyone was so friendly. We were five 60 something ladies and we thought we could get by without a golf cart walking and biking, but we got a cart for the last week and it was fun to be able tool around the island together. The roads don’t really accommodate pedestrians all that well, no sidewalks and cars and carts zipping around. We loved walking the beach, it was a little different every day, not all days were great swimming because there was seaweed and it was quite shallow. We really enjoyed going out with Paulie on a boat cruise with snorkeling and beach combing. We enjoyed The Shipyard, Buddas and The Sand Bar. Great local art at the Ponderosa. We had some big rains and wind and even that was fun watching from inside our cozy spot and playing games and doing puzzles. All in all we were very happy with our choice and would recommend it.

Authentic Grandmothers Coastal Cottage

The pictures listed really don't do it complete justice. Seekers Delight is much better than what's shown. It is so authentic and extraordinarily peaceful. Any stress you brought with you to this picture postcard island will be gone within hours. The home is larger than it appears. It is incredibly clean and so welcoming. We could write any entire page on the gorgeous surroundings but you can trust what others have written. The islanders are so friendly and the food is tasty at the restaurants. What make this particular trip for us one of our most favorite was the hosts! They arranged EVERYTHING for us. They even reached out and let us know a fw things like: on the day we were arriving it would be the Bahamas Independence Day. Which meant almost everything would be closed due to the celebrations. Including the grocery store. So they offered to buy us any groceries we wanted in advance which was so helpful! When we arrived on the dock, our golf cart was waiting, which was also arranged for us. They truly thought of everything we could need and we are so grateful for them. They take great pride in sharing this home and we loved every moment stayin in it. Our trip was perfect thanks to Susan and Lydia. THIS is the place to stay in Spanish Wells! The beach in the back yard was almost deserted daily. All restaurants are a 4-7 min golf cart ride and it was so fun zipping around. We couldn't believe such a beautiful place excists in this world Everyone I showed our photos to remarked that they looked like post cards. So if you are thinking about going, stay in this house. The views are surreal. And then don't tell others cause we want to keep this magical place all to ourselves!

Perfect Family Getaway

Everything was perfect about this place. Location, cleanliness, and views. The house was also fully stocked with everything you need. The check in and out process was a breeze and Lydia truly is wonderful. Can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back.

Amazing Stay

The house was absolutely amazing. We came down for a week with a group of five. Lidia and Frank made sure that we had everything we needed for a great stay. The house was very clean and had everything needed for a great stay. I will definitely be staying here again. I highly recommend this house.

Paradise!

My family of 4 had an absolutely amazing experience at Seeker's Delight. This was our first time to the Bahamas and we wanted a quiet getaway. Spanish Wells is an amazing island that has not become overrun with resorts and commercial entertainment. We had long walks on the beach, golf cart rides to Papa Scoops, fishing with Ryan Neilly, and enjoying this amazing home. Lydia was the most helpful, communicative host we have ever experienced. She arranged all our taxis both to and from the airport--seamless. The location of Seeker's Delight, in our opinion, is one of the best locations on the island. We will be back! I can't say enough praise for this house, island, and it's people. :)

Great little place on the beach!

This was our second trip to Spanish wells. We stayed on Russel island the first time and then decided to try staying on spanish wells the second time right on the beach. The host was great and very responsive for anything we needed. We were picked up right away and were happy with the home. It is right on the beach so we walked it each morning. We were happy with the accommodations, property condition, and location. Everything went very smoothly. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Amazing!

We absolutely loved our time on Spanish Wells and this spot was perfect. The house had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Bikes & kayaks made the trip that much better. The location was amazing, seriously beautiful beach, calm and private. Communication was perfect — just enough but not too much. Lydia is super helpful and kind. We would stay here again in a heart beat. We can’t wait to go back.

Our home away from home!

This is our second stay at The Seekers and I couldn’t recommend this home highly enough! The beautiful white beach on our doorstep is such a treat and we were only a golf cart ride away from restaurants, grocery stores, and the dock to charter a boat for excursions! Clean, Comfortable, and Charming Island Home

Our decision to stay at Seekers was the result of a long search for the perfect private beach honeymoon with all the comforts of home and none of the commercial tourist and resort crowd. From the weeks leading up to our trip, and from the moment we arrived, Susan and Lydia were excellent, helpful, and thoughtful; the consummate hosts. The home is not modern and yet super cozy, lacking nothing. The property grounds were beautiful. The adjacent forest was teeming with birds and the beach was all but private. We never encountered more than two or three people walking down the beach each day. Great restaurants, great kayaking… one could make do with the bikes but we chose to rent a golf cart for the week which made for easy shopping and eating out when we were not cooking/grilling fresh seafood at the house. We rent VRBO beach houses and snow cabins four or five weeks a year and count this as a gem. No disappointments! We intend to return!

Perfect Location!

This house is amazing and the location is perfect if you like a quiet but beautiful beach. Lydia was an exceptional host and arranged everything for us including transportation to/from the airport, golf cart rental, and groceries waiting for us on arrival. This house is even better than it appears in the pictures. We will be back.

Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful time. The weather wasn't great, so having a comfortable house to stay in while it wasn't sunny at the beach was great. The hosts were very responsive. Road work nearby cut off the water supply to the house for a day and the host was there in 15 minutes to turn on the water from the emergency water reservoir! We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Spanish Wells.

40th Birthday Getaway

The property was huge and secluded with a nice path leading to the beautiful beach/waterfront. Lydia was extremely helpful in answering questions before our arrival and during our stay, as well as coordinating our airport taxi and golf cart rental. We love visiting Spanish Wells and had a fantastic getaway celebrating a milestone birthday!

Wonderful property & great hosts

The property is exactly what we expected. The house was clean and comfortable and right on the beach. The property grounds were well maintained. There were plenty of beach accessories such as chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc and many kayaks to use (plus a paddle board). The hosts Susan, Lydia and Franklin were fantastic and almost immediately responded when contacted. The transfer from the airport to the house was all prearranged and went very smoothly. Lydia and Franklin were very responsive with any questions once we were on the island. They took care to make sure we had a great vacation. Overall this was a wonderful place and would love to come back in the future!
