We love staying here to recharge. Television reception not so great, but that encourages one to switch off, and the very weak showerhead can make for very cold showers in winter, but the property is always clean, the fireplace creates a warm cosiness, and the surrounding beauty and tranquility is well worth the stay.

Peaceful retreat
This is our second stay at coopers shoot and we loved it just as much as the first time. Lovely house in a lovely location. Even though it was boiling hot, Julie went out of her way to make sure we were still comfortable. We will be back

Great quiet location
Comfortable farm house situated in Broke. Close enough to all facilities, wineries and shops, but far enough away from it too.
Wasn't cold enough to start the fire, but looks like a great centerpiece to the main room. Places was a good side, and a fully kitted out kitchen.

Awesome stay at this gorgeous house
The sunken living room was a highlight with a big log fire and super comfy massive couches. Julie was such a helpful host, returning my call immediately when I got home and realised I'd forgotten an item, immediately offering to post it back to me. The vew outside was amazxing - cows, horses, sheep and one morning a hot air balloon landing in the mist. Very close to Margan winery which is a must do. So tranquil and relaxing - you must go here. We will be back!
Property is well fitted out with everything needed for a weekend in the wine region. While in need of some renovation on the inside it is perfectly functional, clean and tidy with very nice artworks and old furniture items. The views to the vineyards are beautiful.
The outside area, deck, verandah and immediate garden was however a disappointment. They were uninviting and unkept and really let the property down.
Very quiet and peaceful. Good layout. Has air con in the living room and one portable unit for the far bedroom. They work great and did the job. Water used is from rain catch. No issue we booked the water before drinking, just in case. Great long views and the Roos came out of the vineyard across the street at dusk and stayed out til dawn. Very Australian. Washer worked as designed and cloths line outside did the drying.
Perfect place to relax and unwind with family and friends
This is the third time we have stayed in this property. We love the comfort, peace and tranquility this property offers. Well appointed. Very comfortable. Surrounded by quality wineries. Will definitely go back a fourth, fifth and sixth time.
Views of vineyards and mountains make you feel at one with nature. A casual stroll down to the brook is a must do. The close proximity to wine tasting and very good restaurants is the cherry on top. The owner is very responsive and communication in the lead up to our visit was well timed and appropriate. Enjoy!
The property was beautiful, the surroundings peaceful and quite (which is what we were looking for). We will be coming back in the winter months to make use of the fireplace!
Easy to find, check in process very convenient, farm house itself was very clean & well equipped. The fire place was the highlight of our weekend. The mountain views unbelievably mesmerising. Thank you for sharing your home.
Had a lovely stay for my Son's wedding close by at Margan Winery. The house was perfect and beautifully serene with kangaroos , cows and horses dropping by to say hello. Everything was as described and went off without a hitch.
Thank you
Cooper's Shoot was in a beautiful spot, secluded without feeling isolated, private without being too far away from everything. The house was decorated with some really nice pieces and sitting outside in the morning with a cup of coffee was dreamy. Also, believe Julie when she says that the stars are incredible - the stars are INCREDIBLE.
We spent 4 nights here and really enjoyed the stay. Lovely set up, sunken lounge area, lots of space and a great back deck with amazing views of the countryside and hills. So quiet and the stars were a highlight sitting out at night. Comms with Julie the owner being spot on prior to arriving. Clean, all the kitchen gear you could need. Aircon very handy given it was 37-38deg during our stay. Would love to stay during cooler months and crank up the fire.
Thank you for our lovely few days at your property.. with sweeping views of the valley from the expansive verandah, we enjoyed playing board games, watching the cows work the fence line, tasting the wine made at the local wineries.. and we couldn’t help but have a fire each night.. lucky for the cooler weather. We very much enjoyed our stay. Natalie
This house is in the most idyllic and picturesque setting. The beautiful views and country surrounds made us feel relaxed as soon as we arrived! The house is charming, spacious, comfortable, and clean.
Broke is a fantastic location, and we loved it for a girls weekend of wine tasting and R&R. The million dollar views from the veranda are perfect for morning coffee, afternoon drinks or reading a book. Only 20mins to Pokolbin, but we thought the nearby vineyards in Broke were even better! We loved our stay and can't recommend this house highly enough.
Cooper's Shoot was everything we were hoping to find for our family holiday and more.
The property and view is unbelievably picturesque and the house itself cozy and charming. There is a great assortment of books, games and activities for all ages. We loved having the wood burning fire place and pretty much kept it going through our entire holiday.
Every morning we took a walk through the paddocks with our little ones to say hello to the cattle and be closer with nature. The neighbor's horses also came to the fence to say hello a few times.
Our kids loved exploring outside on their own, and when it got chilly we came in for books by the fire, card games, puzzles and chess.
We couldn't have asked for more. Just perfect. Thanks so much Julie!
So lovely to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for the peace and tranquility of Cooper’s Shoot. Waking up to a mob of kangaroos hopping through the property and at the other end of the day, enjoying the starry, starry nights were both treats for city dwellers like us. House had everything we needed including an iron and ironing board. Loved the gorgeous kitchen table and the rocking chair in particular. Very close to everywhere we needed to go in Broke. Very pleasant stay.
