I was scammed.

Terrible experience with the property, but VRBO were brilliant. Couldn’t contact VRBO straight away (not their fault) our taxi driver recommended a nearby hotel which was ok. When I did contact VRBO the next day, they were extremely nice, very apologetic. They opened up a case against the ‘owner’. Straight away they paid for the second night at the hotel (was only staying two nights) and within a few days I was refunded total apartment cost. Well done Vrbo. Will definitely use you again. (Have an apartment booked in Vietnam for two weeks)
