The apartment was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating and even accommodated an extra day when our flights were cancelled with little notification. We made friend with the most beautiful tree frog as well. The girls loved it
This was such an easy stay. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful and the place was lovely and clean and suited the purpose.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Simple But Good
Great location less than 15 minutes to Hidden Valley Raceway & less than half hour to the heart of Darwin city, basic & simple but good accommodation-we had an issue with the toilet on check in but Jan & Brian were prompt in their communication & organisation to get it fixed in quick time. Only note I would have for travellers is that it technically isn't '2 bedrooms'...it has 1 bedroom with a double bed & a sectioned off area adjacent to the living area for the 2 single beds. In saying that, a pleasant experience & would stay again. Thank you Jan & Brian :-)
The location is quiet and the rooms are lovely. The pool was a great bonus to our stay. We visited in the dry season so everything was a bit dusty but that is to be expected, no complaints from us.
The facilities allowed us to feel at home and self sufficient during our 12 day stay.
Jan and Brian were friendly and welcoming, and the dogs are sweet.
A great overall experience

Felt like home
We stayed with our 3 children and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Jan and her partner were fantastic hosts. The kitchen facilities were a little less than I was expecting, but they were more than adequate and we kept ourselves well fed!
This property is a shocker. My parents in law stayed here for what was supposed to be a relaxing, rewarding holiday but the property was so bad they moved into another hotel whilst still paying for this one.Where to start? On arrival the front door was broken. The TV didn't work. The pool area is disgraceful, it hadn't been cleaned and my FIL had to clean it himself. The "privacy" shading from neighbours is all ripped and they have rubbish (old bricks, pavers etc.) sitting up against the pool fence. Mind the broken, empty plant pots lying around, not to mention the dangerous cord running over the pool fence and onto the ground that my MIL had to continuously navigate. If you want to lounge by the dirty pool you'd better bring your own outdoor chairs. The kitchen facilities are extremely basic. Door fronts in the "outdoor" kitchen were old, mismatched and dirty. You even get an old vacuum cleaner on the porch for ambience. The owners were aware of these issues and never offered compensation and refuse to refund us the 2 nights my PIL didn't stay there. We have been getting messages about oils in the bed (?) which is a load of nonsense, my PIL didn't use any oils and I believe this is a strategy to avoid having to compensate or reply to a bad review. Wait for it. If I hadn't been overseas at the time my PIL stayed here I would've dealt with it but I made the booking on their behalf so they didn't have the capabilities unfortunately.
Owners were good to deal with would be nice if there were a dryer, overall was a great place

Not impressed
We were placed on the bottom level of a standard Darwin house, with the owners and another B and B couple upstairs. The owners lounge was placed in the carport downstairs where the smell of her smoking was horrific and never ending. Sitting on the outdoor table, water drips on top of you as you are trying to eat. Ever time they went to the toilet, we listened to the flushing as we are trying to eat. The air conditioners were set to 25 and couldn't be adjusted, making it uncomfortable all night. The washing machine had hours of operation which we had to ignore, as we were always sight seeing at these times. Very overpriced for what it is.
