Beautiful Hammock Beach House Among the Best!

The beautiful spacious home is part of the Harry Harris Park Community. Walking Distance (less than 2.5 Short blocks) to the Beach/Lagoon with the Atlantic Ocean backdrop. The home is freshly decorated with HGTV open concept look and feel. All new linens, bedding and new upgraded high end Spa bathroom and kitchen. The location is perfect with nearby restaurants with fresh seafood at all prices. Great area for hiking and bike-riding. Location is perfect - approximately 1.5 hours from Miami and 2.25 hours from Key West - part of the National Everglades Park land formation. Lower level consists of an independent studio where property manager resides for part of the year; he is available to provide any required services.

Extremely dissatisfied

This property is not as advertised, It was listed as house with a garage. Upon arrival, I found a person living where the garage was supposed to be with the property manager living in it. The listing on vrbo does not have a person living on the premises, I thought I was renting a single family house which I have done numerous times on vrbo.on arrival I called Vrbo to complain, the owner said she would return my money if I wasn’t satisfied. Because it was super bowl Sunday, no rents available or motel rooms as well for hundreds of miles. Also, hurt my back because I slipped on stone walkway leading to stairs. Uneven and slippery stones. I could not consider leaving for a couple of weeks because of my back situation. Was refunded some of our money. Returned money does not make up for a vacation that was ruined in more ways than one,(back issue and apartment downstairs.) Should not be advertised as a single family house by VRBO. The house is independent from the studio, where the property manager lives just a few months out of the year. We refunded the balance of the stay and offered any further assistance. We have had guests staying for years and never had a complaint. Most of our bookings are from word of mouth and property is booked almost year round. We are sorry that this guest was not satisfied for reasons outside of our control.
