2 BEDROOM APARTMENT

Jeanette welcomes you to the beautiful luxury apartments at Cetacea.

The Fishpen Peninsula on which Cetacea is located is a quiet North Eastern sunny position. There is only a three/five minute walk to the main beach, children’s playground, take-away, bike hire and fish tackle shop. The lake’s edge gives you the convenience of fishing, prawning, boating and swimming. Or if you want to head into town, it is only a 10 minute flat walk to the convenience of all the variety of restaurants, shops and clubs for your entertainment.

Cetacea Luxury Apartments is situated on the Merimbula Lake’s edge. From all the units there is a clear water view of the town across the lake. When night falls on the units the view is amazing with the lights of the town reflecting a rainbow of colours on the water. These views can be experienced from the unit balconies or patios or from inside through the large front windows. Or if you dare, while you lay in bed in the main bedroom.

We have eight fully self-contained luxury apartments, which all have access to a solar heated salt-water pool and poolside barbeque area. There is also off the road parking behind the apartments. All the apartment’s kitchens have a full compliment of crockery, cutlery, utensils, dishwasher, full sized fridge, stove and microwave. In the living area, for your comfort and convenience, full lounge suite, dining table and chairs, LCD TV and reverse cycle air conditioning. All linen is provided.

Two Bedroom Apartments

Our two bedroom apartments are designed to sleep a maximum of four people. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and ensuite and has great water views across the lake to the town. The second bedroom has two single beds. All rooms have built in robes. The main bathroom consists of separate shower and spa bath as well as a laundry tub, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. The spacious lounge and dining area leads out to a patio area to relax and enjoy the beautiful water view.

Great spot,close to beach,shops and more importantly oyster farms. Cute appt.... but be aware you are very close to your neighbours. I found our beds a bit uncomfortable but for 1 night it was ok. Overall a good stay for a couple of nights.

Security Deposit painfully unnecessary

All good but processing a $200 deposit without saying so is unacceptable. Better clarity needed on that and the check out process. All else was fine.

The security deposit is all part of booking with the booking agent you choose, from my understanding it is a normal practice by some booking agents with the amount set by the owner. I don't use booking agents I book direct but friends tell me it is normal practice; only difference I find most places take a credit card with the normal practice that they have the right to process if you don't turn up or their is a problem, hopefully this is explained more fully by your "booking agent"

Faulty towers

Check in was a disaster after 1 hr Jeanette finally arrived to check us in. Rooms were not well presented very tired and not well cleaned. However our big problem was that many of the units had dogs staying. The compendium states it is not allowed.
