Beautiful Waterfront Craftsman-Style Cottage, just minutes from Vail's Seven Springs and Hidden Valley Resorts. Private setting among native laurel and hemlocks, just a few feet away from Trout Stream, with creekside patio and firepit, bridges, and hiking trails.
Carefully restored cottage circa 1927 is filled with charm, as well as latest conveniences including high speed WiFi Internet and SmartTV with Netflix and Amazon.
Great room with 17 windows overlooks stream below; Sounds of waterfalls are heard throughout!
Full kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances and modern front load laundry. Hardwood dining set with extended seating for 6. Stone fireplace, and Gas Stove. 2 bedrooms with sleeping for 5, with 2 additional sofabeds, sofa. and inflatable bed.

Over 250' frontage on Class 1 trout steam, with 2 bridges, hiking trails, mountain spring, creekside picnic area with park style grill, and creekside vollyball court! Lodge was cozy, very clean, and welcoming. Host communication was great. Stream and wooded location were a nice change of pace. Spent lots of time on the finished porch in the back. Kooser park and trails a few minute walk away. Forbes and other state parks a short drive. Only issue was the nearby SR 31 - less than 100 ft from the front door, with 55 mph gravel trucks all day long. If the lodge were 5x farther away from the road it'd be perfect! Awesome property- just bear in mind the traffic.

relaxing get away

We loved the property, we spent alot of time with our feet in the water just enjoying the creek. The house was great, just be aware that you are situated on a slope, so there are stairs and incline, but it it doable and absolutely worth it. The owner was very quick to respond when we had a minor issue. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. We definitely plan on coming back soon.

I grew up in Pennsylvania, and I love the Laurel Highlands.

The atmosphere and creekside setting of this property is breathtaking, and has been features in national magazines. It is very close to the largest concentration of Ski Resorts in the Mid-Atlantic, and other attractions in the Laurel Highlands.

What makes this property unique

-Beautiful setting among the stream and woodlands.
- Trail leads directly into state park; makes for great hike or morning jog
- 1 mile/5 min to ski resort. Easy for skiers and nonskiers
-Walk to resturaunt with good food and great prices
- The atomsphere at sunset during the summer on the stone patio and firepit with a nice glass of wine with friends is priceless.
