About this property

Honeyeater Cottage Bed and Breakfast

Honeyeater Cottage is located in Yellingbo, a short distance from Seville and Woori Yallock in the beautiful Yarra Valley. The cottage is set in its own private gardens on our 15 acre hobby farm.
Our property is surrounded by vineyards, grazing land and orchards.
We are close to many wineries and wedding venues, including Wild Cattle Creek, Paynes Rise, Killarra Estate, Seville Estate, Gum Gully Farm, Wandin Park Estate and are a short drive to Healesville Sanctuary, Puffing Billy and the historic town of Warburton. The Warburton Rail Trail, a great place for walking and bike riding is a 5 minutes drive from the property.
The cottage itself is tastefully furnished with antique mahogany furniture, with quality fittings and linen. A beautiful antique queen bed with top quality linen ensures you have a very restful nights sleep.
The bathroom has a single deluxe spa bath and a separate shower.
The open plan cottage has a reverse cycle airconditioner and combustion wood fire to ensure your stay is a comfortable one no matter the weather. Wood is supplied from May to September when the weather is cooler. You are welcome to bring your own wood at other times.
The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, refrigerator, n'espesso coffee machine, single induction cooktop and an outdoor BBQ.
Come and enjoy a relaxing stay in beautiful rural surroundings, sitting on your verandah, with our farm in the foreground and Mt Dandenong as the backdrop, where beautiful sunsets can regularly be seen.
Enjoy your continental breakfast sitting on the verandah, watching the goats, sheep, alpacas and cows wandering outside your fence or sit in your own private garden listening to the call of the many native birds that call the farm home.
Minimum 2 nights. 24 hours notice must be given to make a booking.
50% deposit required by direct debit at time of booking.
Unfortunately the cottage is not suitable for children.
Pets are very welcome and are able to be inside the cottage or run around in the fully enclosed garden.

Excellent for short stay close to Melbourne
Wonderful place to stay with my dog in fully enclosed garden. Just a short trip up the highway to a peaceful country setting. Great welcome with home made bread and muffins. Meticulously kept property while retaining country charm.

"Honeyeater Cottage" is an amazing & beautiful farm/country stay, that is still close to suburbia.
Dogs are welcome inside, & are allowed ON furniture & bed, as long as you supply a blanket to go over them. A very rare luxury for fur-parents. Every need catered for, with a variety of milks, juices, breads, jams, butter, coffees, teas, cereals & fruit salad upon arrival, plus many other delicious treats. Luxury linen, towels & toiletries, extremely comfortable furniture, beautiful gardens, friendly & sweet ponies & other 'rescued' farm animals. Host Sandra is friendly, warm, welcoming & so accommodating. An amazing, extremely comfortable & memorable stay. Highly recommended.
