Rooms were clean, the host was amazing to interact with open honest and kind. The host was very accomodating with our requests and a few last minute changes we had. Nice and quiet, scenic with nice walks around. A good pleace to come and get away from it all and relax. Overall I would recommend the place to my friends.
the property in three sections, the main house, the accommodation and the working space..it was away from other properties, so we were able to express ourselves freely.Kitchen and rooms were lovely.
Great set up for a big group or large family getaway. Multiple rooms, a central courtyard, with plenty of wood provided for the indoor fireplace and outdoors firepit. Great venue.
Thanks
I would have definitely rated 5 if the multifunction room and the Lounge were not dusty. We couldn't use it at all.Otherwise excellent host.Lots of utensils in kitchen.Good bbq.Clean bathrooms.
Perfect for multigenerational big family get together. The pub at the bottom of the driveway was a bonus. The train station opposite was also great. Sent all the teenagers home early on the train!
Property is spacious with enough room for everyone. Lovely fire ready to go upon arrival, most welcome. Place was clean and tidy and any problems were dealt with quickly. Kids and adults alike had a fantastic time.
Don’t miss this place, my friends and I had one of the best weekends ever.
For an old school renovated into hotel style accommodation, this place is fantastic. No expense spared from the very friendly owners. The place was so warm on arrival which got us all off on the right foot. Everything was there that we needed.
We went to the local pub, don’t miss it, an excellent night.
Thankyou from 12 happy people.
Cheers,
Linda and Friends.
The location is outstanding for a large group with lots of space. The amenities were sufficient and functional. The host is very welcoming.
The cleanliness can be improved .
Wonderful secluded old school house with loads of history. Great central lounge (the original schoolhouse) wood slow combustion stove , adjacent to well equipped kitchen. Sleeping in three separate parts of property, enabled
teenagers to be separated from parents and grandparents. Old schoolyard was the play area. Very nice owner lives adjacent. Highly recommended.

Amazing Property for Large Groups
We just spent 2 nights at this amazing property - 26 of us. The house is large and warm and accommodated all of us comfortably. Beautiful drive to Jenolan Caves. The host was lovely and very accommodating. Sitting in the historical lounge room in front of the fire when it was freezing outside - an absolute high light. Highly recommended.

Great location and I would highly recommend !
We had a large group of about 30 people. This place worked out great for us. It was clean and in A+ condition. Even though it was freezing cold outside the owners had all the rooms on auto heating to match our comfort levels. Beds were very conformable to sleep on and we had a couple of large living areas inside and outside to enjoy. Kitchen was fully equipped to cater for a large group.
All in all, we had an awesome time. The owners looked after us very well and were extremely accommodating to all our needs. We will be back soon and for sure !

We had 4 families staying together. At Rydal Mount we were all easily accommodated and all really enjoyed ourselves. It was a great combination of convenience and charm, everything was very easy for a large group. The kids had a great time riding their bikes around the property.

It is a rare accomodation for a large group.
We 7 families from Newcastle enjoyed very much in the Rydal Mount Retreat Center.
Addition to neat and tidy rooms lots of other spaces are there for a big group.
The kitchen is amazing and big to accommodate many people.
The Retreat itself is in very quite place. We went to the Lake and Caves from the RMHC, the driving itself very enjoyable. We love to go again. Thanks to the owner for his generosity and hospitality.

Great for a quilting retreat
My quilting group have stayed here about 8 times. Its fabulously quiet and no distractions ( apart from country walks) to prevent you from getting your sewing projects done. Large room for the group to sew in (with excellent gas heating). Electric blankets on the beds and cosy fire in the main house make your stay comfortable. Catering a great option that I can highly recommend. All rooms have good beds.
