Exactly what we were looking for!
This property was fantastic! There were three of us, plenty of room in a great place with a ton of historic character. An incredibly short walk from downtown but far enough away that you forget it is there. Will definitely be back!

Despite a hiccup at the beginning of our stay, the property owner made things right and graciously allowed us to stay an extra day.

Perfect Location
The house is a perfect location for visiting Annapolis. Walking distance to everything! The only request would be to make sure all remotes work for TV. Plenty of space and beds for 6+ people.

Prime location
A prime location also comes with some noise. Great location but a bit noisy at night. Overall a good unit though it could use a little TLC inside. Furniture very comfortable but more than a few feathers sticking out! Beds very comfortable. Photos did not do it justice as far as how spacious it is!! Each room is a very generous size, I would say it should be labeled 1.5 bath as we were expecting another shower. Not a big deal for us. Backyard very nice to sit out, not an issue finding a parking spot either. Overall a very comfortable stay, would definitely recommend it!

I have lived in Annapolis since 1983 and would love to share this wonderful town with you, if you haven't already seen for yourself what a wonderful place it is. I'm an avid sailor, fisherman, father of 4 wonderful kids, all of whom still live in the area. I am a graduate of Amherst College and Vanderbilt University and this is my only rental and I am determined to make it the best place you have ever stayed, when you come visit Historic Annapolis! There are loads of things to do and see, and this newly updated house is right in the thick of it all!

Why they chose this property

I bought this house because it is cute and genuinely historic! It was built as a part of the old Mann's Tavern, where George Washington stayed when he resigned his Commission as the Commander in Chief of the United States Army after winning the Revolutionary War. It is a few steps away from many historical sites in Annapolis, including the oldest State Capitol still in use and the home of the U.S. Congress during the War of 1812 after the British burned Washington.

What makes this property unique

The Founding Fathers literally walked the street in front! Close to the Naval Academy, St. John's College, City Dock, Main Street, the U.S. Sailboat and Powerboat Shows, it is convenient to everything!
