Offering seclusion and privacy yet still so close to the action, Park House is the perfect place for a quiet get away for a couple or a holiday retreat for larger groups.
Please contact us for quotes for stays longer than 7 days, as the HomeAway/VRBO system does not apply long stay discounts correctly, and over-quotes significantly. Alternatively, please contact us for a personalised quote.
The house offers the best of holiday living. Huge cathedral ceilings with timber beams in the living space and upstairs bedrooms combine beautifully with wood panelling and painted brick to create a contemporary country feel.
The house is located just a minutes' drive from the heart of the historic village of Yungaburra and just a couple of minutes from the Tinaburra boat ramp.
Park House is designed to help you relax whether on the patio out the back, in the lounge room or while preparing food in the chef's kitchen.
A TV, stereo, Wii, Apple TV Media Library, Netflix and DVD player are all available for use along with a reading corner with library and a great selection of board games.
For those that like to spend time on the water, Park House is in a perfect position.
When the dam is at 80% or above, bring your boat up to the back of the house or paddle and swim directly from the garden.
When the water level is lower, there may not be water out back but the boat ramp at Tinaburra is just 2 minutes away by car.
Easy for fishing and watersports, Park House is also quiet and private so wildlife abounds. Great bird life can be seen in the reserve opposite the back garden and cows live in the field across the road from the front of the house.
At night you can spot bandicoots, echidnas and even possums.
A large living space and chef's kitchen make for really sociable spaces and when combined with the luxurious outdoor living spaces, the house offers plenty of space to relax and recharge.
Downstairs features a large living space, reading nook, dining area, kitchen, toilet, bathroom (with laundry) and 4th bedroom (with curtain divider to close it off) plus huge outdoor room with additional dining area, lounge and bunk room.
Upstairs is the master king bedroom, two double bedrooms, bathroom with bath and shower and separate toilet. All bedrooms have storage and are spacious.
There are number of configurations to suit your size group - you can hire the main house which includes the outdoor room and all grounds; just the bunk room, outdoor room and downstairs bathroom and all grounds; or the main house + bunk room for larger groups. Regardless of the configuration, Park House is offered on an exclusive one group at a time basis, so you'll be left in peaceful seclusion for the duration of your stay.
We are pet friendly, however prior approval is required which is assessed on a case by case basis, and may attract an additional bond of up to $1000 which is fully refundable provided there is no damage attributable to their stay. Guests with pets and small children should be aware that the property is in a semi-rural setting, and is not fenced.
The property is not fenced, and is in a rural setting with unfenced access to water which could present a drowning risk to children if left unsupervised. Guests remain responsible for children at all times. There a beehive located on a far corner of the property well away from the house which will not interfere with guests, provided it is not interfered with and guests remain clear of the hive. Guests must keep children away from the beehive. Wildlife is abundant, and we do everything possible to keep the place clean, safe and rodent free. However whilst there are no abnormally dangerous creatures for Australian standards, due to the rural setting there is the possibility of insects, snakes, and the occasional rodent depending on the season and weather. There are plenty of nighttime birds and other small harmless animals that make all sorts of interesting noises, some of which could be alarming to international travellers who are not used to Australian wildlife - they are all harmless! Guests remain responsible for their own safety, and common sense must prevail at all times.

This property is ideal for a group get together who want somewhere quiet and relaxing. The property has everything you want or need. Full kitchen, a pizza oven, large barbecue, a great fire pit and plenty of seating inside and outside. The property is clean and very comfortable beds. Yungaburra is a short walk away where there is a nice pub and the small food store sells firewood. Highly recommend and will stay here next time we come up.
Property and access to lake are fantastic. Only issue were the very noisy neighbours currently in full demolition / construction mode with dozers ruining the stay.
Everything was perfect. Very Tranquil property. The Owners thought of everything to make it a most enjoyable stay. My Dog stayed with me and he had an enjoyable stay as well. Definately would stay their again when up that way next.
We had such a fun long weekend at park house. We enjoyed the Water sports and lake access, pizza oven night with friends and family and relaxing and catching up in the beautiful gardens, back patio and lawn. The kids loved the bunk house.
This property would suit anybody. Situated in a quiet private area while being close to tourist destinations. 2 minutes from foodworks, pub and restaurants.
I especially loved the garden and landscaping. Beds were especially comfortable and house was beautiful presented with matching decorations.
This property was the perfect setting for a relaxing and fun girls weekend away. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with stunning spacious bedrooms. It had everything we needed to cook yummy meals and two lovely fireplaces to enjoy. Would highly recommend this property. We will be back!!
This was one of the best place we ever stayed. Spacious room, great ambiance, clean barbecue and a gorgeous backyard with an access to a stream. We did kayaking in at the stream and everyone enjoyed a lot. Kids had lot of space to play around. This place is very close to many attractions in the region. Ric and Jilly was so helpful and I recommend this place for everyone.
Had a lovely getaway at Park House in Yungaburra. A good size house, outdoor area and a big backyard!
The kitchen utensil draws need dividers and to be organised more so I don’t cut my hand again trying to get utensil out.
Other than that it’s a great place to stay :)
House space is excellent for the number of guests. We all felt very comfortable for our stay. Kitchen has good space to take a few cooks in. They all enjoy their cooking in the kitchen. We notice the kettle in the BBQ area is not working and a slow cooker is really slow. They may need to be replaced. We suggest an extra hair dryer works better for a two storey building. Other than that, we enjoyed our time here and appreciated the host's efforts in providing a pleasant stay.
Park House is a very clean well presented home. It is definitely a home away from home. We made good use of the pizza oven and spent a lot of our time in the fully equipped outdoor entertainment area.
Park House is in a convenient location close to the Yungaburra township and boat ramp.
Communication with the property owners was always prompt and informative.
We highly recommend Park House for your next family getaway.
Our Banjo was absolutely delighted by the lake side setting and enormous lawn.
His humans fell in love with the setting too. The wetland birds, kayaking and general beauty took our breath away.
We had a glorious weekend.
Thank you. We will be back.
We were very impressed with the Park House. It had everything we required for a relaxing stay in Yungaburra. The location is very peaceful and quiet. My family loved the house and surrounding gardens. Our hosts have done a fantastic job with decorating the house. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend the Park House.

Wonderful Family Escape
Our 4 young families rented out Park House in the lead up to my brother's wedding. With 10 adults and 6 children under 4 we had ample room. The property is perfect for watching over little ones with the wonderful outdoor living space opening up onto a large back yard (with lots of nature). The house was well appointed and set up with large groups in mind. Jacqueline was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. We will be booking this place again next time we are all together on the Tablelands.
