Adorable place and the perfect spot!

We were able to check in early and the place was adorable. The location was on point and close to everything. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to town and recommend it to our friends!

This was the perfect stop for me and my daughter on the way to college. The property was exactly as described and very clean! It was a short walk to Main Street for shopping and food. Great spot!!!!

The check in process does not match VRBO norms or even the host’s eventual description. VRBO emails started 3 days in advance about contacting host for checkin details, but host eventually messaged that details are only provided 1 hour before checkin time. In fact these details were only sent well after checkin in response to text and email requests. While the accommodation itself was nice, the checkin experience left one feeling that it was a scam listing.The unusual checkin process should be clearly stated in the VRBO property description so that everyone has common expectations.

Location is close to town but the area is a little sketchy. Not the best houses around. There are cosmetic repairs that need to be made. No curtains on the front windows, outdoor lighting not working by the hot tub, gate to hot tub not able to latch without lifting the gate and latch is broken, tv is extremely small for the size of the room, bed needs new mattress and pillows, towel rod has been ripped off the bathroom wall. If you are going to charge that amount, there are basic things that need to taken care off.

“4 blocks” is a stretch-we drove back and forth to the downtown area. The house was pleasant and clean. We only stayed one night and I would compare it to a really nice hotel room ( with a sink and microwave). The hot tub didn’t look too inviting-it was situated between a side yard fence and the side of the house. We had a fun time in downtown Fredericksburg-lots to see/places to eat.
