Kurrajong stay
Well Sandra, thank you for the lovely break. We enjoyed the area and the extra things you have provided for us: Like milk, eggs, butter, coffee and tea. The house was very well appointed with great bathroom and kitchen. Nice and private, with loads to do in the area. Would love to come again some time with the family. Regards Alan

Serene!
The property was very well prepared upon arrival - bathroom was clean, bed was made and fridge stocked with a few basic provisions.
Coordinating arrival and departure time was a breeze as Sandra and Elisa was always contactable by messaging. They were very flexible to our needs and it is much appreciated.
The cottage is a basic build but has a beautiful view over the valley, perfect for a weekend getaway! The stay was wonderful, would come back without hesitation!

Thank You Jason, It was a pleasure to have you both stay! We will be here to assist you with what's happening in the area, like Apple Picking, Bush walking and more when you return Best wishes from Elias & sandra
We had an excellent stay at Sandra’s property. The accommodation was spotless and well-kept. It has an absolutely gorgeous view and our young children had a great time exploring the area around the property.
Sandra is a lovely and communicative host. She took the effort to make our stay comfortable and we felt very welcomed.
The location was perfect for our short Easter getaway. It took us 10-15 min to drive to Bilpin
for apple picking and about an hour to blue mountain. We had a fantastic stay at Sandra’s place and will definitely be back!

What a pleasure having you stay with us Lacey. Thank You for sharing your families experience, I was so glad to hear that you were recommended by a friend who also stayed. We hope to have some lambs born between July and October.
Thank you for you review...
The place was even more lovely than the photos! It was very clean, had some amazing views and all the amenities needed. There was even an electric fire which made the place very cozy at night. Sandra was one of the best hosts I've seen - warm, friendly and generous. Our kitchen had some wonderful extra treats and she was amazing with my energetic son. She even brought her quails down for him to see (which he loved)! The property also had sheep which he enjoyed feeding grass too. Truly a special place for both adults and kids!

Hello Sarah Jane,
It was so lovely to meet you both and so very happy to add some extras. All ages find something special here, from gazing at the stars at night to listening to the so many birds during the day. I just hoped the poppies would all be out for your stay and they were. Hope the plant we potted for you is flowering.
Hope we see you all again through summer months when our figs are fruiting .
Thank You for sharing your experience staying at Highfields.
We absolutely loved staying at Highfields, Sandra is a warm, welcoming and very communicative host. Cottage 3 was spotless, warm and cosy - the sunny back balcony was a wonderful place for afternoon tea or glass of wine. We would definitely stay again, it is well located for the upper Hawkesbury and Bilpin areas but still quiet and peaceful. Very generous and thoughtful touches provided - milk, eggs, bread and much more. Even the sheep welcomed us - very friendly and curious. The highlight of our stay was the birth of a little lamb on our last morning - an amazing, delightful experience. Thank you!

We had a lovely long weekend away for Easter 2021. We spent 3 nights in Cottage number 3. Easy check-in. Very clean upon arrival. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, nice kitchen/dining/lounge space and two balconies. An ideal space to relax. From the balcony at the back you can sit and view the sunset over mountains.
Great location. Close to Windsor, Richmond and Bilpin. Great for visiting markets, fruit picking etc in the area.
Sandra and her family are wonderful hosts. Close by if needed but also giving you space to explore and relax. We appreciated the thoughtful touches of tea, coffee, breakfast provisions for one morning and fresh picked fruits from their garden.

Thank You Jess for leaving your notes of your experience here the long weekend. It does mean a lot for others to know what to expect.. We did have a great weekend and enjoyed coming for a stroll and sharing our pomegranates, figs and fuyu fruits.
It was so good to see your son and other guests daughter finding friendship, sharing drawings and chocolate eggs.. The weather was perfect and so was our company, which reminds us of how lucky we are to offer such an experience for all and just over an hour away.. Remember July/Aug lambs are due.. Keep in touch
Very clean, nice location, especially the view of the valley, close to all sites. Had a great time. Thanks to the hosts for making our stay enjoyable.

Cosy cottage stay
We booked this last minute for the Easter weekend and we are so glad that we did! We came in late to the cottage but it was easy to find and Sandra left us great instructions. It is a perfect clean and cosy cottage and Sandra supplied some great essentials for breakfast. Waking up and watching the fog roll behind the hills from the balcony, as well as feeding the goats is just some of the relaxing activities we enjoyed on our short stay. Would definitely stay again as it's the perfect little home away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but not too far from a town for food and supplies. Thanks Sandra!

Stunning property and location
The cottage was amazing. Has everything you need to cook. Location is close to the village with a few tasty cafes and a pizza joint that is pretty well the best take away pizza I have had.
The views from the cottage are so scenic (even in cloudy or foggy weather) it is just beautiful.
And you can feed and Pat the goats!!
Sandra is super nice and friendly and happy to assist with any queries you have. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Thank You Ben for a heart felt experience review! We enjoyed meeting and speaking with you! We will make sure to have some Lucerne hay out for you, so Goats and sheep will come up closer. The young kids and lamb will be born in few months - they are always fun to watch. If you come out in a 4WD we can direct you to Burralow Rain Forrest's pure drinkable Waterfall! Wheeney Creek is also a great round trip through to Mt Tomah where you can pick Walnuts and Pecan Nuts about April! Everyone needs time-out together - that's what we @ Highfields are all about! We are about an hour out of Sydney We look forward to our guest return to spoil them. Thank You Ben, Your Welcome Sandra

Amazing place!
We stayed in the 1 bedroom cottage this weekend and it was amazing. It was a great escape from the busy Sydney life. Cottage was very clean and modern. Sandra was absolutely amazing. She called in the morning to say she would be out when we arrive but we could check in at anytime. The place was well stocked with eggs, milk bread, tea. Apparently the place is surrounded by fig treas and they were amazing to eat. We cooked a great meal in the kitchen and enjoyed the amazing views of the hills all weekend. Although we had rain for 15 minutes I have to say it was the best part of the trip, just sitting back on the balcony with a wine and enjoying nature. Sandra allowed us to feed the goats and sheep and they loved the celery sticks. Bed was super comfy. Woke up to birds chirping. Will definitely return again. Thanks Sandra and Stayz who we booked through.

Cozy Modern Cottage
A lovely location with cozy modern cottages.
Upon our arrival we were greeted by the lovely caretaker Sandra herself and to top it up a handwritten personalised card to welcome us to the to our little holiday getaway.
The cottage was fully prep for us with fresh towels, bedsheets, pillows, toiletries and a well equipped kitchen. It was definitely the perfect location for our group of 6. Each morning we were greeted by the beautiful view of the hills blanketed by clouds and fresh green fields where the friendly resident Angora goats roam.
Another great thing about this place is that it's near to most of the local attractions which made it a easy for us to venture around.
We really enjoyed our stay. Wished we could stay longer.

Home away from home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Mountain view cottage which was in as new condition, immaculately clean and equipped with everything we needed. As a family with young children we especially appreciated the extras like toys, children's cutlery and crockery and the offer of a portacot.
The gorgeous rural views and friendly farm animals in neighbouring paddocks were the icing on the cake.
We'll definitely be staying again.
