A very spacious and equipped apartment.

We are in our 70's and this was the 5th property we rented during our 7 week stay in Europe. The apartment has been recently redecorated and is lovely. It is very well equipped with appliances and cooking utensils. We especially appreciated the washing machine. The area is very multicultural and the apartment is a short walk from the metro and buses to the Gare du Nord are across the road. There are supermarkets, boulangeries a covered market and restaurants close by. However, we were not entirely comfortable as we were concerned with all the instructions we were to follow. We didn't manage the internet or the TV which has no channels in English.

Great place to make your home base in Paris

The apartment was a pleasure to come home to after a busy day sightseeing in Paris. This is a very comfortable and spacious one bedroom apartment with modern kitchen and bathroom. I loved the beautiful furniture in the living room along with hifi equipment and it really made the place feel like home. We didn’t get to meet the owner Louisette but she was very responsive to any emails we sent and arranged for her friend to meet us when we arrived. The location is very good, only a short walk to Marx Dormoy metro. You will use the Metro a lot to get to the all the tourist location. Just head up towards Marx Dormoy and you will find restaurants and a supermarket (Franprix) just opposite. Also, near Marx Dormoy just walk up Rue de Torcy there is an undercover fresh food market and some nice restaurants. You can try the Mandarin for really good cheap Chinese food and alongside the food market is a great little pizza restaurant. On your way home don’t forget to pick up a delicious pastry at one of the many Boulangerie. There is a great one on same side of street as the supermarket as you head back to the apartment.

Just what I needed

Louisette’s property was just what I was looking for. It was close to the metro and a five minute walk to a grocery store. The kitchen was well equipped and the shower in the bathroom was really nice. I did have to buy toilet paper and paper towel as there was a partial roll of each. Great place to stay in Pais

Nice comfortable apartment. Kitchen was very well equipped. Neighborhood was a bit boisterous but with the windows closed the sound level was OK. Convenient to bus and train service. We enjoyed our stay in Paris!

We had a pleasant stay

The apartment was nice and complete. Very close to the baker for fresh breakfast, close to shops and to metro station. (Ca 300 m from the apartment). We had a nice time here.
