Good communication with host, well equiped kitchen, Fantastic views from the upper floor, comfortable bed's ,couches etc... Nice quite location for a relaxing holiday. Beach was fantastic and the dogs loved it
Had a wonderful stay with family from Adelaide and Melbourne meeting in the middle at Port Macdonnell. Richie was great confirming everything before we arrived. The views from the house are amazing and there’s lots of space and sitting areas - thanks Richie for a great stay
Very comfortable house with everything that we needed. Owner was great with any requests. Would stay again in future. Would be a big plus if the property had gates and a side fence for our dog.
Great house on the beachfront. With three generous king sized bedrooms, plus another communal bunk and family room, 2 bathrooms and other areas to getaway, make this the ideal home for large families or groups. Can easily accommodate 3 couples plus multiple children, with enough space to ensure you're not on top of each other. Huge backyard with BBQ, and space for multiple cars and boats etc. And with such large accommodation it makes for fantastic value on a per person basis. Situated right on the beach and easy walking distance to shops, cafes and pubs. Highly recommended.
Richie’s place is in a perfect location, right in front of the beach with stunning sea views all day and night. The house is close to town, making it convenient to grab fish and chips, pizza, or anything else you might need. It also has plenty of beds, which makes it great for large families or groups of friends. One area that could be improved is the cleanliness of the house, which I felt had room for improvement. That said, it’s wonderful that Richie allows dogs to stay—it’s not easy to find such pet-friendly accommodation. Overall, we had a lovely stay!
This house was comfy for a large group of us, plus two dogs. Kitchen well equipped, beds clean and comfy, lots of spaces for people to relax on a couch.
This is a classic beach house that served as an excellent base for exploring sinkholes and the coastline.
Only request would be to replace the gate to the backyard or have a pull across option to keep dogs fully secure. We all loved it though. Thank you for a great stay!

Mr
The room stinks, the refrigerator stinks, and the sofa is very dirty.
Magnificent View but House needs lots of cleaning and work
The toilet upstairs is NOT bolted to the floor and rocks from side to side when using it. The back wire door does not have a lock or an inside handle to help close securely. The upstairs wire door also the same as back one. Only one lamp in whole house which needs checking as it flashes on and off and we disconnected it for safety and I had to read, as I do every night, by the light of my mobile then remember to charge it for the next day. The aircon is NOT efficient and needs a thorough check for safety. We did not need to have it on as there was a breeze coming from open windows and doors. The house is NOT clean and needs an industrial cleaner to get stains off carpet in lounge area and the stairs. Downstairs the floor is cement.. Extra things that should be provided is Hair Dryer, bucket for mop, Furniture in BBQ area was unusable due not being clean to use. Washing machine and trough we very rusty on outside ands fridge upstairs was clean inside but dents and marks not cleanable on the outside. The best part of this house is its position opposite beach and the view and that earns the stars that we have given. The owner was very pleasant and introduced himself and is well aware of the upgrades he needs to do in the off season. If he does this he is sitting on a gold mine due to its position. THIS PLACE IS NOT DOG FRIENDLY NOT BEING FULLY FENCED. We wish Richie well in the future. Cheryl and John.

Great location but house condition can be improved
Great location just across the beach. The owner has been great and accomodating for our big groups. House cleanliness can be improved.
We really enjoyed our stay. Property has amazing ocean views from pretty much every window. Beach across the road. Very good value for the money. Owner was helpful when we rang to check the heater. Would recommend to anyone who likes the water.
