The Sandbar Holiday House is a renovated 1950's beach house located front and centre among the houses with river frontage at Red Rock NSW - see Map. This cute little holiday shack features 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed and remote controlled ceiling fans, and a front enclosed sunroom and dining room with full length opening bifold windows. The Sandbar sleeps a maximum of 4 guests in total.

This property emphasizes location being centrally located within very short walking distance to all of the Red Rock attractions. These include: River - 30 seconds, Beach - 5 mins, Children's Play Ground and Recreation Park - 3 mins, Boat Ramp - 3 mins, Convenience/Take Away/Water Craft Hire Shop - 3 mins, Bowling Club with Restaurant - 3 mins, and Caravan Park - 3 mins.

The Sandbar Holiday House has a brand new self-contained kitchen and bathroom, two living spaces including lounge room and front sun/dining room, a large 40m2 covered outdoor deck with a 9 piece dining setting and BBQ, two bedrooms each with double beds and built-in wardrobes.

Off-street gated parking is available along with a lockable cage under the house for water craft and fishing gear etc. Access to the lockable cage can be discussed with the owner prior to check-in.

Prior to arriving, communications w the host were informative and welcoming, also w offer to contact during stay if needed. The house was beautifully presented and had a welcoming feel. There was lots of information provided about the house and the local area. Great kitchen w lots of utensils (including good kitchen knives - hooray). Everything you cld need great oven and cooktop. We didn't get to use the bbq - but it looked a good one and the back deck is a great space. Great reno of the bathroom too. Really nice space. The beds were great quality - firm and comfy. The location is perfect - so lucky to sit in the front room and watch the river. We spent most of the day in or on the river, but also enjoyed walks to the headland and beach, the bush track to the point, and the beautiful coastal heath behind the village. A truly special place. And a great house to stay in. Thank you

Comfortable Red Rock Cottage

Sandbar Cottage is a comfortable retreat with a beach shack vibe. Lovely location opposite the reserve, steps to the river and an easy walk to the beach. Places like this and Red Rock village are getting scarcer on the Coast.

Surf Shack Living

The perfect place for coastal holidays. Over looking the Red Rock river and very central to walk anywhere in Red Rock whether it's the headland, beach, general store or bowls club. Very easy check in process. We'll be sure to stay there again in the future.

Cosy and relaxing cottage

We enjoyed our short stay at Sand Bar. The cottage is smaller though it boasts big beautiful views. The warming sun from morning to the evening sunset kept us cosy and warm. The back deck was huge with water views through the sliding door to front windows. Only downside the cooking equipment in the kitchen needs to be updated.

The location and view from the front verandah are the best!!! This little fisherman’s cottage has everything you need for a totally relaxing break! The ocean, the river, the walks, the swimming are fabulous! Could not stop taking photos! We will return.

Perfectly relaxing holiday

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. We spent many hours sitting at the dining table enjoying the lovely view of the waterfront reserve and estuary. The ceiling fans and huge back deck are also a great addition. Comfy beds topped it off. Thanks Darren!

Great Cottage Great Location

Perfect location directly across from river. Small well maintained cottage that sleeps 5. Has everything you need for a relaxing break in this great little village of Red Rock. Awesome large covered deck with large outdoor setting at the back makes up for cosy living space inside. Only thing we didn’t enjoy was the shower. We only stayed for 3 nights but will visit again.
