About this property

Drift@Kooringal - Beachside paradise

Situated at Kooringal on the quiet Southern end of Moreton Island, this is the perfect place for a beachside getaway for the family. Neat as a pin modern comfortable house with verandahs for cooking and relaxing. This house is a minutes walk to some of Moretons most beautiful and secluded beaches.
The local shop can provide most basics and serves meals on weekends.
Three bedrooms provide accomodation for up to eight people in comfort. The house is fully self contained and has plenty of solar power.

Please note, pillows and doonas are provided. Sheets and towels are NOT provided, please bring your own.

Bedroom 1. Queen bed

Bedroom 2. Two single beds, can be pushed together if required.

Bedroom 3. Two double bunks can sleep four.

As there are no sealed roads you will need a 4WD. A barge runs to the Island from Brisbane to Tangalooma. See the MI Cat website for details.

Our stay at Drift@Kooringal was really cool. The property is a nice simple open layout with some nice beach house type touches. The home is an easy stroll to the local cafe/bar and by vehicle close to a lot of different beach settings (e.g, dunes, bay, surf beach). A beautiful relaxing stay option off the grid.
